Defense agrees. Of course, their point will be that Ethyl was lyin'.

So, if they lied then, is she lying now?

I don't like these jury question. The jury is too concerned about the gas station stuff. Not sure why, but I'm afraid that TK emphasized it too much!

This is a couple of times now that the pros has made the point Chris and Channon not part of the "crew". Not sure why, the defense isn't making that claim, in fact they are steering away from it.

Defense on cross points out that Chris had enough money to buy gas, further impeaching Ethel's testimony that Chris and Channon were at the Exxon begging for gas money.

The prosecution is leaving too many open doors for the defense. They didn't need the credit union lady to testify for them.

The posecution really needs the jury to be convinced he was at that house at the times that Ethyl said he, and that Daphne will say he was. This defense is more sympathetic. They seeming have a less culpable defendent. Stacy's testimony may have helped him...by virture of her being a generally sympathetic witness. All my opinion, of course.

Thanks for the pic Muffet. That's one of Davidson's customers.

I think Daphne will be the best witness placing GT at the house during the time Channon would have been there.

My head is just spinning from all the twists. Another reminder of how holding separate trials for these defendants has allowed the truth to be obfuscated as facts are manipulated to suit.

Don't get me started on that. I tend to rant and rave about that. You are absolutely right.

This defense has a shot.

Defense cross. Not sure where they are going with this.

They have a shot at avoiding max charges, IMO. Hope they don't, but they might.

Don't get me started either! These separate trials are a bone of contention w me because so many of the bad facts can be compartmentalized... and there is no integral or final accounting or reckoning of them as a whole. Nevermind how grueling this has been for these poor families. :(
