Good the robbing the bank and making money is in.

The thing is if your not a criminal, as soon as someone starts talking about robbing a bank, wouldn't you get out of there.

Heck yeah! As soon as they started talking about carjacking/bank robbery to get a car I would have been GONE! Course I wouldn't have been hanging with a bunch of drug dealers anyway.

My mom used to tell me that you can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep.

Judge - jury can be told Coleman knew on day of disappearance Davidson looking to "make some $"

Judge says Davidson's prior robberies irrelevant to this case and can't be disclosed

State wants show Coleman knew these guys violent criminals but didn't leave

He says Coleman admitted in unrecorded stmt Davidson, Cobbins, Thomas pulling robberies b/f kidnapping

Judge having hearing outside jury presence on whether lead KPD Inv. Childress can reveal notes

Yeah, Sutton didn't even know that Channon was in the house. And Sutton didn't commit any crimes against Channon and Chris that led to Sutton profiting according the the Criminal responsibility rule. Cobbins jury never understood what criminal responsibility meant. I hope this jury is smarter than that.

I think it's important that the jury know that VC isn't JUST being charged because she was in the house. She was charged because she knew crimes were being committed, saw, and in my opinion heard the crimes happening. She was not just visiting.

Exactly. I think all of those robberies should be allowed in if VC was around at the time. If she knew about them, but stuck around anyway, that's critical information for the jury.

Leland Price made that point to the judge, and Judge B seemed to relent, but I wasn't sure exactly how far he was saying they could go.

Not only that, she knew when they left walking that they were going to look for a car/money. She knew BEFORE that a crime was going to be committed. Why didn't she leave while they were gone? Noone was there to stop her. IMO, she wasn't really concerned if they were going to commit a crime. Not a big deal to her.

And even after they left, she never came forward, and when she was caught, she lied to cover for Cobbins, by her own admission.

Adding it all up, I don't see how any jury could see her as being held there against her will.

Incoming or outgoing mail. Determines whether mail is legal or not. Inmates are aware that letters to parents will be read.

He inspected a letter Coleman wrote to her parents.

He copied letter and took it to detectives. Forwarded it to Homeland Security because they requested Coleman's mail be monitored.

On letter were stick people etc and it appeared to refer to the crime she was charged with.

Addressed to Vanessa's parents.

Reading letter. She's talking about giving Channon water. She never touched Channon. Drawn picture of where she touched Channon's wrist.

I bet if she tried to leave was because she was jealous of what Rome was doing to Channon.

ETA: She says in her letter that she told Cobbins that she wanted to leave because "things were not right" He then asked her if she "was trying to create a scene," and told her to get back in there and shut up.
