I noticed when watching the trial in person last week that Mr. Lavitt refererred to the victims as "Channon" and Chris." If VC does testify today, I wonder if Lavitt has coached her to say "Channon" as if they were friends. That will be nauseating.

she refers to her as the girl or the white girl in her statements, so if she does testify he will need to get her to stop saying that,

if she does testify it is a huge risk, as she will be asked about the statement where she was shown Channons injuries in photographs and was asked if she thought that would be painful, and if she thought that would you think she would be screaming

not the kind of testimony the defence want the jury to hear from Vanessa

Leland concerned that in the charges it states that there was rape by an object on Chris. The ME didn't testify to that as she has done previously. Wants to change that to just say anal penetration. The ME did testify their was anal penetration.

Judge is going to ask VC whether she will testify or not. She will not testify.

Hmmm, that means closing arguments might be this afternoon. Judge has to read the jury instructions and that is usually lengthy.
