Defense cross. Asking about seeing 4runner. Confronting on window tint, obviously couldn't id people. No white women. All appeared to be black male. No white male.

Defense says couldn't ID people in 4runner when it drove by. Witness agrees. He thought they were black men. He couldn't be sure but that was his impression. Didn't think there were any white men or women. I believe he said he saw 4 men in the car.

Jenkins told them from the start that the tint only made it hard to see inside when the light was glancing on the windows, but he could see when the light shined through them. (Maybe from the other side.)

Defense tried to get away with saying that since Jenkins only saw 4 black men in the car, there was no white woman in the car.

Jenkins was quick to correct him, saying that he could only see the four black men, but could not tell if there was a white woman or man also in the car that he just couldn't see.

He really was a great witness. Came across as polite, articulate, and honest. Knew what he knew, and wasn't going to be tripped up. They tried to nitpick, but his recovery only made him seem more honest.

No, but IIRC, Davidson and Boyd had robbed that location that week. I guess the defense has a witness to place Chris and Channon there. Which is obvious BS.

It is, and I'm going to be irate that the judge isn't requiring any real reason to allow it over the DA's objections, if it turns out he has no real evidence. He's letting this def atty get away with implying things without support.

If he does have evidence, then I can't figure out what that would that mean, anyway... if I remember Cobbins' interrogation correctly, he admitted where he got them from.
