Is anyone worried that she won't be found guilty of murder in the 1st degree?

I feel like this is a trial by inference.
By all accounts, MB was caring for Evelyn adequately. Until she wasn't.
Evelyn was hitting her milestones, was toddling, was BREATHING ON HER OWN. Until she wasn't.
I hope the testimony from the MEs hits the jury squarely. No explanation for her to be dead until you factor in the circumstances of how she was found. And then it fits. Her breathing was impeded. By the tinfoil, blanket, trash bag, trash can.
And if you think she "was murdered in a different way", why would someone put tinfoil all over a baby's face? By fingerprint, it's a near certainty MB did the tinfoiling...
Is it enough, to say that the likelihood explanation is that MB covered up Evelyn's face, wrapped her tight, put her in a trash bag, stuffed her in a wastebasket, and that is what ultimately killed Evelyn, impeded breathing?
What's the 'just as likely' scenario? Is there one?
Megan herself said she just wanted a break (motive)... then there's the new job and new bf... sudden drop off in being a mom and no evidence that she reached out to anyone for respite care...
Why a thousand lies to a thousand people if she isn't guilty? Why no comprehensive, CREDIBLE explanation for how Evelyn died, if it happened another way?
Are we at BARD?

There are no breaks with child rearing. Be committed! Maybe precious Evenlyn past the age of the safe haven law when this monster mother decided she needed a break, but she still had other options.

I think TV has left people with a sense that murder has to be proven. But that's not the standard. It's BARD.

Agreed. First degree murder is hard to prove; unless you were right there to witness the murder.
Second degree murder is easier to prove.
Common sense, life experiences, facts of the case, what the law allows, not hearsay or what media is reporting, etc.
Guilt must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Same here. Along with first degree murder I think Megan’s facing two counts of felony murder so it’s a safe bet she’ll be found guilty of murder in some form.
IMO it should be first degree murder though. The last time her friend Crystal saw Evelyn was at Chili’s and she testified that Evelyn smelled bad. This was soon after Megan hooked up with Hunter and IMO indicated that she was no longer interested is caring for her daughter.
When Evelyn’s body was found the aluminum foil pressed tightly on her head made no sense other than to constrict her breathing or at least to make sure she wouldn’t revive. There were no head injuries so no need to contain bleeding.
Add to that Megan’s comment that she needed a break and her blossoming relationship with Hunter and it really looks like Evelyn’s murder was premeditated rather than accidental.
I hope the jury will see the same connections.

Plus she told LE that she was "on again, off again" with HW, and I believe she was talking about December. Rocky relationship from the start. But she said she was spending the night there. When we know Evelyn was NOT at a sitter, NOT with her mom or dad, NOT with E. So where was she? I think she was home alone.
I think MB got more and more accustomed to being at work and with HW (trying desperately to get him to want her) and her easy lies were working (telling different lies to different people about where Evelyn was).... I think she left her alone really long... and was in a hurry to get back to work or back to HW and didn't want to come back again.
I will never understand the tinfoil. Not just because it's horrific but it's so WEIRD. I think she used it like Saran Wrap, nothing else makes sense to me. Like people who think mayo and miracle whip are the same. Tinfoil, Saran Wrap, same, same. She just didn't have Saran Wrap. IMO she used tinfoil because it's all she had. She intended for it to work like plastic over the face.

Well, that was tedious. Judge reading through instructions at mach speed. Not sure what the legal purpose for that is, in sure there is one, but who is reading/ listening for comprehension at that pace?

This has to be the most extensive jury verdict form I've seen. I recently saw one much shorter but was so confusing that the jurors didn't understand it. I hope this jury can clearly understand and answer appropriately. JMO
