Very sad day in court. IMO, there left no doubt for me that there was a direct correlation between the timing of MB getting hired at the Chicken Shack, meeting HW, and the demise of her daughter, EB. MB saw being the 'queen of H T's Chicken Shack' more favorable than that of young motherhood.

Seems there may have been about a week or less overlap which was awful for EB because she was terribly neglected during his period. Poor child was filthy, missed medical appointments, and reportedly had the worse case of diaper rash witness SW had ever seen. (SW, the sister of MB's foster parent, babysat EB a couple of times).

Darling EB, born on Nov 21, 2018, had just turned 1 yr old weeks before Christmas 2019 yet MB had no interest in creating a beautiful, first memorable Christmas for and with her child (unlike Christmas of 2018 with a one month, newborn). No photo with Santa, no Christmas dress, presents under the tree, or Church program. Instead, MB shared all of this with HW in 2019..

Friends and family were excited to share gifts they had for EB, and were left perplexed how of all times, why now was EP, the otherwise unknown, absent father, being designated the guardian/parent to spend the Christmas holiday with EB? By his own testimony, EP essentially met EB for the first time in El Paso, TX in late 2019 when MB showed up unannounced. And no family Court would ever issue such a Visitation Order! MOO

So many things going wrong, one by one, adding up to a horrible catastrophe. At any point there could have been a decision made BY HER to prevent this.

Did Megan work shifts, stay the night with her bf, leaving Evelyn to sit in soggy diapers, because Megan didn't want to to get reported for the diaper rash? What was that moment that she decided she needed Evelyn gone? Was it so she wouldn't be found out? Didn't dare let a sitter see? And after she thought her baby away, like she might cast off spoiled leftovers, it appears she just washed her hands of the whole thing and CaseyAnthonyed forward.

Found the answer after a bit of searching. Her friend had passed in 2018, but Megan and the friend's mother, Christy Broome, remained in contact afterwards. Megan was staying with Broome and she wet the bed while LE was searching grandpa's property.

Broome said at night, Boswell wet the bed, something she had never done before. Boswell didn’t talk about it or offer an explanation, but Broome said it happened during the time investigators searched her father’s property.

When MB applied for a job at the the Chicken Shack, she told Mr. Wood that she could work as many hours as necessary (and she did work long shifts) because her child was with her baby daddy. Wood also testified MB first started work on Dec 2, 2019. The messages and meet-ups with her friends would likely confirm how long after Dec 2, EB was no longer sighted by the friends. Also, we know that Granddad Tommy last saw EB on Thanksgiving Day. [Thursday, Nov 28, 2019]. If I understand correctly, prior to new employment beginning December 2019, there were no complaints of EB appearing unkept and/or neglected. MOO

ETA: From Casey Saults testimony, EB missed her 12/5 wellness check appointment for December and rescheduled for 12/6 but then claimed work was preventing her from keeping the appointment. On 12/11, MB asked if other family could bring EB to appointment and Saults confirmed OK. MB followed up again on 12/13 and said she was changing pediatricians to find care closer to her work. The last time EB was seen by the provider was Oct 2019 and EB was healthy, and no physical concerns noted.

Randy Wood said he first met Boswell when she applied for a job at Hunter T’s Chicken Shack and hired her. Boswell was working on Dec. 2 when the restaurant opened.

Boswell's former foster family members testify

Two members of Boswell's former foster family were called to the stand by the prosecution.
Gail Kyte was called first. Boswell lived with her from 2018-2019. When Boswell was seven months pregnant she started living with her.

Kyte testified that Boswell called her on Dec. 22, 2019, because she wanted Kyte to meet Wood. At that time, Boswell said Ethan Perry, Evelyn's alleged father, had half custody.

Kyte's sister, Sue Whitson, also testified. She said she babysat Evelyn in late November or early December.

She testified that Evelyn was dirty when Boswell dropped her off to babysit. She said she smelled of urine and had a dirty face and was wearing dirty clothes.

Boswell didn't immediately pay her, Whitson said.

Text messages show Boswell paid her around Dec. 21, 2019.
"She put money in the mailbox and sped out," Whitson said.

Boswell told her she was upset about Perry taking her to court and hadn't seen Evelyn in days.

It's like MB gave motherhood an expiration date. At exactly one year, she decided she was done.

When EB was reported missing, and the stories continued, I read the linked news dated Feb 27, 2020, and I started to believe her! Yes, I thought, AB and the dude took EB just as MB said!

Except MB's lies never stopped. Evil, user, manipulator, to the core. She did not deserve to be graced with Evelyn. Not for one hour-- let alone a year.

I've heard enough. #Justice for Evelyn.

I think we saw how the defense tried to dirty Megan's father for testifying for the State, seeking justice for his innocent, defenseless grandchild, so I don't see her mother, AB, being called for the State.

AB was accused by MB of fleeing with EB and refusing to return her, and I don't see her as a good witness given she was arrested in NC and charged with possession of stolen property when the Amber Alert was active. Reportedly, AB and her boyfriend were driving a vehicle owned by MB's boyfriend's mother, and she reported the vehicle stolen. No surprise this involved more lies by MB... Besides, AB also has an unrelated criminal history.

Similar to MB, AB was a young teen when MB was born... and we know at 17, MB ended up pregnant, in Foster care, due to truancy when her mother did not require MB attend school when she was living with her.

I dunno. Perhaps AB will speak at sentencing-- hoping to add something for mitigation. JMO

Makes sense now why we haven't heard from her. Megan seems to have inherited her mother's traits.

I thought MB was a lying liar who lies from Day 1. No emotion in her dark cold eyes IMO. Fake emotions because she doesn't feel anything except for herself. That sweet baby Evelyn was doomed by MB from the day she was born.

No, I couldn't either. I will never understand the sick mind thinking of harming such a beautiful, innocent human being. For ANY reason, it makes my heart break and makes me want to handle MB personally. That's why I have to stay a safe distance emotionally.

That precious baby never deserved the Mom or abuse she received. The way MB disposed of her like garbage wrapped in tinfoil and probably still alive???? She then walked away scott free to pursue some non interested boy/man is so beyond my brain's capacity to even fathom. She's like the Susan Smith's and Casey Anthony's of the world. Pure selfish, cold hearted evil. MB will get what's coming to her and grow old behind prison bars.
