MAY 21, 2025
Megan Boswell, the Sullivan County mother convicted of killing her toddler daughter, will not have a sentencing hearing Thursday, according to Court Clerk Bobby Russell.

Boswell was set to be sentenced on all of her other charges in relation to Evelyn’s death, besides first-degree murder. The hearing was originally scheduled for Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

The Sullivan County Circuit Court Clerk's Office confirmed the information. A new date has not been set.

Darn....

New sentencing date not set...
Hope it's this decade, but then again this is not California so it should be soon.

I hope that heartless baby killer gets LWOP. Is it going to be streaming anywhere?
I was actually hoping for the chance of the death sentence.

I think it would hurt and cause more pain to Megan to be locked up and away from any attention. She appears to me to be a person who is dark, cold hearted and a big ole' Narcissist.

Let her sit in prison and rot with nobody giving a damn about her for the rest of her life.

What she did to that sweet, innocent, little Evelyn is beyond words. All because she didn't want to be inconvenienced by having a 'toddler'. GRRRRRRRRRRR 🤬

Saw a post on FB that said her sentencing date is in September. I asked if there was a specific date... so I wait... :)

MB's attorney is challenging the State wanting MB to serve consecutive sentences which would equate to life in prison. Besides appealing her verdict, her lawyers contend MB should serve concurrent sentences because the jury decided she was entitled to parole. Hence, this is the delay in formally sentencing MB. There was supposed to be a hearing on this matter on May 22.

ETA: MB convicted on 19 charges, including three counts of first-degree murder.

Praying for consecutive sentencing to win out. The manner in which she murdered and disposed of her precious little girl was barbaric and MB should never be allowed to enjoy the free world again.
