A prescription bottle?
I don't think there is any reason to think Holly is on a daily medication, I supposed anything is possible. But then why would they need to wait and see if the clue had any value to the investigation, or whatever they said at the time?

Not that I have any specific guesses of my own...:(

Again, not saying this is what it is, just throwing it out there....

But, to answer your question....no, we don't know if she took any regular medications, she looks like a very healthy person....but even pretty healthy people take medications sometimes for certain things....everything from migraines to acne to birth control to allergies....and then even healthy people sometimes get sick and need to be on an antibiotic or something to get better. If it was laying out in the elements the paper label might have become undreadable, but like I said, maybe part of her name could be made out....maybe they had to get the family's permission to verify with her doctor and pharmacy that they had issued a prescription to her. Maybe they would have to go so far as to test whether the pills in the bottle came from the same lot number as the pills issued by the pharmacy. I don't know, there are a zillion possibles....But if they KNOW the item is Holly's then how do they know? There are probably only so many possibilities there:

1) It had her name on it
2) Her family identified it as belonging to her
3) It had her fingerprints/DNA on it
4) other?

For the record, I am not criticizing LE. I can only imagine their frustration at this point. I may question their strategies, and I may be frustrated by the lack of information, but I am more than content to let them do their jobs. I do think they have more information than we do, but at this point, they may only have sections of the middle of the puzzle. All it would take is that one edge piece to start hooking it altogether and showing them where it all fits.
I do feel that people need to remember that cases change all the time, new info comes to light, old info is discredited and through all of this, the officers working this case are only human. Humans make typos on press memos, they misspeak themselves, and they have to rework strategy as they go along. That's what they are doing, as far as I can tell, and most of the changed info that I have seen can be attributed to one of those things. So even though I may question it, and even though it's not the strategy that I feel is best, I'm not one of them, and I don't know what they know.
I don't want my questioning to be misstaken for criticism. I think they are doing awonderful job with the info they have, especially if (God forbid), they know only slightly more than we do.
I do think that the info that we are getting now, where there are little tidbits being filtered to the media daily (the family's letter, the updated description) is a desperate bid to get the spotlight back on Holly, but a desperate bid by who, we may never know. it could be LE revamping their strategy, but it could be the media themselves not wanting to lose a hot story or her family pushing harder from behind the scenes.

Thank you for that laugh...it's been a LONG day and it was nice to end it with a chuckle...

:floorlaugh:

You're welcome!

And thank you for supporting the Komen Foundation. I am a survivor.

I think someone posted a youtube video to show what it is. I also have no idea, I only know about camo from the armed services :) Not for clothes.

My son just got back from Afghanistan, and my youngest son loves to wear camo... but there is huge difference between the two.. IMO

I still cant find a single news article, that stated the suspect was 5'8" to 5'10", all of them that I have read said the suspect was 5'10" to 6' around 200 lbs.
TBI seemed to be the only ones that got it wrong, in the height and added 20 lbs. and 1" to the approx height.

well, the FBI poster for Holly Bobo STILL says 5'8"-6' 200lbs, if that helps...

Did anyone notice on the very first "full" press conference, before Holly's parents spoke, that the man referred to bringing back "Natalie" instead of saying Holly... Natalie is Holly's younger sister... If someone could find the video, I would appreciate it... I've been looking, but cant find it again... TIA..

Holly has a sister? I thought they were referring to Natalee Holloway.

Sorry if it's been answered but what the holy blue blazes is turkey camo?

I've heard of desert camo, urban camo, deep woods camo and girly camo, but turkey camo means nothing to me.

I live in Tennessee and the only Camo I ever see hunters wearing is the regular brown hunting stuff you can get at any KMart or Wal-Mart. Turkey Camo would be the same as deep woods camo. Camo with brown colors and leaf patterns, like Mossy Oak, because Turkeys live in the woods and fields and will just run away if they see people.

Edited to Add: This material is actually quite pretty, and nothing like military camo.

They have said they believe it is a community member...
They say it is someone who knows the ins and outs of the woods..
They said that they found a significant item.
They have halted volunteer searches..
They are not releasing anything found except the lunch box..
They are in no means asking for any media help except the profile of the excessive cleaning/selling a car or atv..
I'm praying that thay have this all figured out, and are just dotting their I' and crossing their T's until they find Holly..
What scares me is, the "close to the vest" thing... such as Kyron, Haliegh and others...
It's been 3 weeks now... people will start to forget what they have seen....
I'm praying they have a suspect.. because, if they don't, alot has been lost... :(

TBI (Mehr) previously said 5'10" to 6'. It's FBI who says 5'8" to 6':

I haven't seen anything say 5'8" to 5'10" either.

Was it ever stated he was Caucasian? Or is this an assumption because the brother thought it was the boyfriend? If he never saw him from the front how can this even be known?

The description is, basically, useless. It was a man, he wore camo and he was not small-framed or short.

Please tell me LE knows lots and lots more than this, yet I am not feeling that they do.

Mehr said "white" apparently in that Jackson Sun article from the 14th I posted. This new description, I noticed, doesn't include that.

But how could one tell, from behind, if they only saw camo and sort of saw height? What skin would be showing? I'm not saying he isn't white, but kind of hard to pin it down and it seems no one is.

All I can think of are 4 possibilities:

- back of his neck showing if he had on a hat that covered his hair, but no hood, leaving his neck exposed

- hands if he wasn't wearing gloves, which I would find odd, unless he was wearing some sort of clear gloves so as not to leave prints, but which would show his skin color

- if, even though seen from the back, Clint saw enough of his cheek to be able to confirm he was "white"

- Jackson Sun got it wrong, and "white" was never stated.

One more thing significant to me - they're not trying to get people to post Holly's flyer across the country. That's really strange to me in an abduction case, because she could be anywhere. Everything is VERY much concentrated locally, in a very small area.

Along with that, Will's tweet putting the word abduction in single quotes, stressing it was still an abduction investigation case, indicates to me that TBI has no physical evidence of death, hence stressing abduction investigation versus homicide investigation. This makes it even more strange to me that there is no attempt to get people to post Holly's flyer even across TN, let alone anywhere else.

I am barely awake but was just thinking the same thing.
This case will very easily fall off the radar if nothing breaks and LE continues to stay so quiet. But maybe they don't feel they need national help, just local. If so, does this mean they have a "who", just not a "where" or a "what"?

Baby Joshua in TX has been missing for 3 months and we hear next to nothing about him, and most people assume the bad guy is someone within the small group of friends and family. That is a conclusion that is drawn by LE choosing to stay local and not ask for a lot of help or give out information.

So I wonder how tall the suspect will be next week. :waitasec:

c'mon. It's taken 3 weeks to profile height & weight & publish it?

Or was this info available b/4 and incorrect reports were copied to the thread?

I'm thinking we've had this info before, b/c in my mind's eye the guy was about 6 ft tall...for some reason...

JMHO.

First description I remember is, 5'10" to 6' and 180-200 lbs.

I quess I just assumed that the man made a mistake by saying her sisters name, Natalie, instead of Holly...
Now it makes me wonder even more why her name was on his mind.., for only being a cousin......:waitasec:
and this was the very first press confrence too..... hmmm
again... If someone can find the "full" conference, I would appreciate it.. :) TIA

The name of Holly's cousin who is a country music singer is Whitney. Not sure what made him slip up and say the name Natalie.
