Well that was different!!

This was after the JVM interview, and I notice Clint could not speak since it is "an ongoing investigation"! actually a good thing.

Karen Bobo doesn't tell the same account though. She stays with the April 2011 account of :

Neighbor hears scream
calls Karen at School
Karen calls 911
Then calls Clint
Clint calls 911
Karen , on her way home with a friend calls 911 again

Clint did hear the abductors voice--sounded young-ish
Doesn't say where he heard it
On JVM we find out it is confirmed as Holly's blood
...and most interesting Karen Bobo was distressed at her Son's questioning, thinking they should look outside the family first and then question the family.

I honestly feel the Bobo's don't know which way is up, they are not accustomed to being interviewed, and really need an an attorney to act as an advocate on their behalf. I think they are innocently tripping themselves up when interviewed. Let's face it I think they are very nervous being on TV, who wouldn't be.
Perhaps they should release a written timeline, and allow their attorney to appear with them when interviewed. This is one time an attorney for the family would come in handy. JMHO!!

No it was in one of those same newscasts! it was on the side of the road near a creek or a pond. and it was found by the property owner.

its not ALL of them.

Perhaps I am just so used to seeing Kaine and Desiree on the fly all the time, always on their own. And Natalee's mom.

Clearly the Bobo family will get no help from TN LE; they are being kept in the dark about the silliest things, IMO. I mean, why can't they know if her phone was found? What "top secret" bit of evidence could that knowledge possibly put at risk? Give me a break...I think the TBI is puffing out their collective chests...(this post NOT directed at you, Eileen...)

I did not know they had an attorney as a spokesperson! Wonder why he is not appearing with them when interviewed. Just my opinion , but think they could use some guidance when answering case sensitive questions.:twocents:

Whaat the, really? When did that info. come out, or have I been away too long?

Cause, the first time I saw the duct-tape was on a video and it was on a roadside.

A piece of tape was found beside a road. The distance is not confirmed and some reports just sort of bunch it in with the lunch bag but it was not found at the same time or location. The tape itself is for real it was found by searchers. There is video of it and I have posted a frame grab of it several times already.

HOWEVER there has NEVER been any official word on the tape as to weather it is related to Holly's abduction or not.

Not telling the family every little detail about an investigation (WHERE NO ONE HAS BEEN RULED NOT A SUSPECT) is normal, SOP. I don't know why people are surprised. Stuff is released to the family and the public on a need to know basis and basically they don't need to know.

Some of the other families from other cases that speak out seem to have turned thier mistortune into a means of inserting themselves into other cases and adding their own commentary like a greek chorus. Its not relevant here what someone else says or doesnt say.

I thought they knew the phone was found way back when!
What do u think made the LE stop communicating with them?
Are WE really sure the phone was found at all?

It was never confirmed by LE if phone was found-rumor mill says it was. Mrs. Bobo said she didn't know, on JVM. That is one thing I don't understand them not telling her. So is she still calling Holly's number every day in hopes she has it and will answer it? I mean really...I can see LE not telling them every little thing, but this seems just silly, to me...JMO

That's really interesting. I wonder if it's really connected and where it was found in proximity to her house. I was able to open it and view the video though, and not able to locate it without a link. If it does contain her hair, I think I would have an entire different take on the case.

Yes, thanks Eileen for posting that interview again.

To be even more specific, Karen's timeline:

- Karen is at work at school. Secretary tells Karen neighbor called and said neighbor thought she heard screams coming from Bobo house.

- Karen called home (doesn't say whether she got Clint or not), then she made 911 call, left school for home with a friend and made another 911 call.

- Once Clint realized what was going on, he made the other 911 call.


It is also very interesting to hear that Clint thought the abductor sounded like a younger person.
