I remember the abc newscast witht he ducttape i also remember reading about the pond lol
And that she was dragged led or walked
And that mom called clint
or was it clint called mom
2 911 calls

ya know what bothers me about that duct tape? its not bunched up or stuck together
its almost perfectly flat,
or 4 911 calls
And a turkey!
exactly what I noticed with the tape. It is not covered with one leaf, not bunched, not stuck together, no crinkles either. It is as if it was put there carefully. Something strange about this and I bet it is someone local, that knows the family and I do believe that items found were placed there by the perp to throw off the cops or to play a game with them. I doubt it is a game because the perp by now would have planted something else or left something of hers to be found.

Just my OPINION

There is no way this was some random passerby. This had to me someone who knew her or knew of her. ABSOLUTELY. mo

Do you have any ideas, other than what we've already posted, as to who:

knew of her?

Because we've discussed classmates, a patient who saw her at a medical clinic/hospital where she was doing her clinicals, a guy who saw her at a concert taking pictures with her cousin, a guy who saw her picture and information online, someone from church or a church camp or conference? So many possibilities.

Does anyone recall that movie Kiss The Girls? Didn't the abductor hold the girls in an underground bunker under the ground? I guess it's a possibilty. How do you look for something like that? Could a dog sniff below the ground? It's the only explanation for how they could have disappeared so quickly in the woods. But, that theory would not jive with them finding her lunch pale, miles away.

How soon after her disappearance did they find her lunch pack?

I think days maybe 3 days after. I'm not positive but I think April 15th

Sure enough in a news article it states
“I think that’s important because now we have a vector - that is a directionality,” Dr. Koblinisky said. “She was abducted from the home, they find her lunch box. They know that either the suspect or the suspect and the victim were headed in a direction.
http://www.examiner.com/missing-per...chbox-gives-direction-investigation-wide-open

So the investigation was focused on the direction of where the lunch box was found. In my opinion this is exactly what the perp wanted to happen. I say look the opposite direction.

Prancy, I posted many articles about a guy who carried out that scenario. It's in the early threads of this case.

There are numerous news stories of men building bunkers to keep women/girls in. I posted about some of them in prior threads.

Me and other members of websleuths have been interested in this scenario from the get go.

I agree. He could have placed the lunch box there after taking her away. If it had been found the same day I could understand thinking they went in that direction otherwise, who knows?

She was still carrying her lunch pale? Even after bleeding and being forced away?

That movie was super scary and exactly what I thought of.

That is very plausible and makes sense to me. Beneath the floor of an old house, shed, or building is possible too. Or any house for that matter. I believe this was planned and he had a place to take her and hide her very quickly. jmo

Would someone who is sure of the details we have so far please refresh my memory on a couple of points?

1) Brother hears voices, sees people in carport

2) Calls Mom to see if she knows who the people are, Mom says it's probably Holly

3) Brother assumes the other person is H's boyfriend. Looks out there again and sees them casually walk into the woods.

Okay, at this point, does he just resume getting dressed and ready for the day, or does he quickly go after them? Did he go to the carport specificly because he was looking for something suspicious, or did he find the blood when he went out there for something else?

When did they decide something was wrong? If he thought it was Holly and her BF, why was he worried at all?

Thanks!

I believe it was determined that she had a side-pack that went over her shoulder or over her neck or was a waist pack. It wasn't something she had to carry in her hand, according to previous posters

I have no idea what LE is doing or not doing at this point. If true the voice was of a young person and it is a young person, first of all he is probably a renter, or lives with parents how many single males in their 20's own their own home? He would have had to have built something in the woods and if he had then surely someone would have known about it, seen him carry supplies there, bought supplies or even the perp told someone he was building a super duper (lol) fort. Maybe he and friends built a fort under ground when they were teens.

If I were the parents I mean I would bring any of this to the attention of the public, for it could bring in tips. At least something to check out and rule out.

That lunch box was found on the way to I-40 where the truck stop is. My gut tells me the perp wanted to cops to think she was taken by a trucker or out of town person.

The fact he went into the woods also leads me to believe it is possible this man has a fort or bunker in the woods. If he did plant that lunch box he was getting rid of evidence, maybe as he was driving he tossed things out on the road however, that duct tape was in too much in good shape to have been tossed out a window!

What if the perp did plant the lunch box and stuff to play games with LE. He hasn't done anything since. It is a known fact with profiling that some perps like to insert themselves into the investigation. Could he have done this and that is why he doesn't have the need to plant any more evidence? I know highly speculative but didn't LE at one point or family were under guard and kept under close watch? Didn't I read something about that? My memory is bad so maybe someone can help me.

If I thought that this was a stranger abduction, I would want to check on the wherabouts of that guy who is now in jail in Aruba. He seems to be very active on the internet and apparently has no problem going to great lengths to find his preferred type of victim. He appears to prefer beautiful, slender women with long blonde hair. He has the means to travel anywhere he wants, and I seriously doubt he'd pull this Aruba stunt if he'd never kidnapped or killed before.

My problem is that no matter how hard I try to make it work, Holly's brother's story just doesn't jive with me. He heard voices, but can't describe them. Were two people taking turns talking, or was the male voice doing all of the talking? Were they calm or stressed or excited or whiny or angry?

Is there any reason to believe that the brother might have been hung over or stoned? I'm not trying to be mean, just looking for a reason to explain why he is so vague!

Someone unfamilair with those woods, would NOT walk into them while in the middle of an abduction.

Where was her boyfriend? What about his friends? Her friends? Online friends? Guys who she turned down?

Her boyfriend was at home. Her mother called him. From what I gather he is not a suspect.

I agree the person who abducted her was familiar with the woods. Maybe he lives out there or near her. Possibly a hunter who knows the area.

Can't answer regarding friends, online friends, and the guys she turned down. I don't remember any of that being discussed but possibly I missed it.

You want to know what my opinion has been about the brother all along? I've stated my opinion numerous times on here. He would never think anything bad was happening to his sister. He sifted what he saw through what he knew from life experience.

The reason to explain why he is so vague?

Part of the fault lies with the interviewers and the people who direct them, IMO, because it is their job to hone in and clarify anything that is confusing or conflicting.
