Well you dont want to make wild assumptions, but to get anywhere in developing an idea of what happend you have to make assumptions based on a number of factors.

1) Evidence. Clint heard voices outside, then heard/saw silhouettes in his garage. You dont seem to be able to get into the garage from the front (there are no doors and there are photos of this part of the house). So they had to have been around back. Clint never mentioned anything about anyone coming in the front door. It seems perhaps the family uses the back door.

2) Looking at other cases to find similarities and differences

3) Human nature (people worldwide have common behavioral patterns)

4) Witnesses - while eyewitnesses can be wrong, they can also be real good. Unless there is a reason to discount a witness, some weight should be given to what they say.

In this case, the neighbor does not say she heard Holly scream. So implying that the neighbor did say it was Holly perpetuates some of the problems in figuring out what happened (or didnt). AFAIK the neighbor heard female "bloodcurdling screams" coming from the direction of Holly's house. Yes it could be another girl out in the woods screaming but how many girls would be out in the woods screaming compared to the one girl, Holly, we know was abducted at that same time. Seems unlikely that any other girl was in the area screaming. IMHO...

Clint was awakened by the dog. It seems the perp and Holly were already engaged in the garage/carport (here we go again). So we do not KNOW how the perp originally presented himself to Holly (because Clint was sleeping). There is no reason to discount Clint's testimony, but his testimony does not reveal all of the facts.

As for the neighbor, I have never heard or read her statement; just secondhand from the media, as in "screams coming from the house."

Typically, if these cases are stranger abduction, LE wants all the info out there. The public would demand it (at least city peeps would). The community would be scared to death and LE would be "Out there" delivering updates. The facts are the LE does not want information out there...Big Red Flag.

This ploy by the police narrows my thought processes to it was NOT a stranger at all. It appears this is going the same way that Tara Grinstead's case went....nowhere. That is another case where the GBI didn't want any info out there and the case was cold in a few months. It took place in another rural area in the South. That LE has to know who did it. Another beauty just like Holly, snatched, to not be seen again.

There was an interview with a San Francisco office that said the LE are keeping everything from the public. Will they deny that there was more evidence found. Will they distort the fact that the car found was not significant. Maybe it was? I mean how often do they find abandoned cars there, anyway?

OMG! The amber alert has Holly wearing tennis shoes? The links I have say she was wearing flip-flops.:juggle:

To be fair the alert was issued day one... at a later date the clothes were amended to flip flops. I assume Holly's mom found her sneakers were at the house and her flip flops were missing at a later date... understandable...

Does anyone know about the amber alert?
Was there one?
If there was, why?

There were many articles saying there was one, but I've never been able to find it on any of the official websites.

I have found the info on blood flecks and it originated with CB. He said he observed blood flecks on the lawn....driveway was thrown around too. It was said by locals that TBI wants nothing said about the case; when asked they are to give as little info as possible.

The blood flecks originated with a radio jock from Houston who was working for a night as a talking head on Nancy Grace. That's the only thing on blood flecks I've ever been able to find.

If you have a link showing Clint saying something about blood flecks, I'd sure appreciate reading it.

Yes there was one and I think this was discussed (to death) a while ago. Its hard to search back through 25 threads full of posts though.

Thank you for telling us. I'm so sorry for all these families and I will be praying for them and your niece and nephew. I"m sure this is hard for them to handle.

That radio alert site, if it's the one I'm thinking of, isn't an official Amber Alert site.

according to CNN there is one

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-594920

Is there one official national AA listing? Or is it a county or state thing?

Like I said, many articles stated there was one. That's an ireport though - not a CNN article - anybody can write ireports.

In TN it's via an agreement with local agencies when an Amber alert is issued. TBI lists Amber Alerts on their site.

I think we are now getting severe tunnel vision. Stepping back, we can view the whole case in simple perspective. Holly was obviously caught off guard by an unsub while leaving to go to school. A small amount of her blood was found near her car. A spilled Coke was also there. Holly's brother spotted the unsub with Holly but thought it was her boyfriend. It wasn't.

Some of Holly's "things" were found some distance from the home. Whether they were planted there...or thrown out as the unsub sped away....is not known.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. I, personally, am tired of examining Clint. I think we need a profile of the unsub.

Disregard my (deleted) post till I get verification:

I have to do more research on this property north of the Bobo's. I want to make sure I have the correct name. Regardless, the owner directly north of them has a bunch of relatives with the same name. It is not a common name.
