Did she also have a book bag, I wonder? At one point, books was one of the items LE mentioned to be watching out for during early searches...how did she manage to hold on to books, otherwise? Yet no book bag was mentioned, that I recall.

I've wondered about that as well, but thinking back to when I was a teen and how I might react in a similar situation with my older sister - I can see myself doing the same thing - figuring if my sister was outside with her BF and I came out, she would not appreciate my intrusion. Though this is more the sort of stuff that happened when we were much younger than HB and DB....

Only thing here is he is 25 yrs old hes not a teen!

Yes it's more like a purse/bag from what I can tell. And it was found with the food inside.

As noted Clint never said he did not hear screams.

I still think the screams happened away from the home and closer to the neighbor.

If the screams were distant and Clint were inside he would not hear them

No official word. If she had a bag over her shoulder she probably didn't stop to take it off. At least in one hand she was carrying a can of coke...

Hi. I first posted on here that the "silhouettes" were caused by a light source, most probably the sun, infiltrating the carport area. We had not known the features of the carport until some of us tried to find scant evidence in news videos. From those videos it could be ascertained that the carport had open sides. Therefore, as of this point, I surmise that the silhouette shadow figures were cast on either a) the opposing wall of the carport, or b) the gravel area.

I'm not sure the silhouette would be a shadow; if the arrangement were:

light source --> people --> witness

such that the witness could see the outlines of the people but not details, I'd call that a silhouette.

Yes, but I think the more important question would be "did" he hear screams.

So she was possibly wearing a bag that went over her stomach? Do you mean a waist bag? If so I don't think I have even seen a girl wear this kind of bag, usually guys will wear them who exercise and don't have pockets to carry keys and such. Also, these types of bags are usually smaller and you don't have much room to carry many items. Of course maybe I am not picturing the correct bag in my mind.

We must be thinking of a different type of bag-I see young girls wear them frequently, but have never seen a man wear them. I used to wear one all the time when I would have books in my hands potentially or when I would go to certain events like concerts where a normal purse wouldn't do. This is what I am imagining except a bit smaller and tighter (at least, mine was smaller, tighter, and fit a bit higher on my hips)

Mine sort of looked like this and would cross over my body and rest on my hip area.

There are also ones that look less purse-like and almost more like a fanny pack. One of my friends had a pink one, lol. I am having trouble finding the a picture of one of those that isn't a fanny pack though.

I have been following this case from when Holly went missing. I haven't posted b/c I just can't wrap my head around the events the day she went missing. I've seen some good ideas bounced around in this thread. But there are so many unanswered questions.

Praying for Holly's safe return home!
about that
I have been following along too, and also confused
I have had a few thoughts about that morning see what you all think?
Me being a non morning person I am usually not with it for about 30 mins after i get up i don't know about Clint if he just woke up and really wasen't able to grasp all that was taking place. Also maybe in the time when he saw them in the garage to the time they were walking into the woods maybe he had to go to the bathroom. I know when I get up i usually have to tinkle first thing(sorry for the visual). I wonder also if he had been out late or maybe had had a few beers the night before he would have been a little more groggy than usual. I know just speaking for myself if i first woke up and seen what I thought was my sister and her BF outside i would probably not give it a 2nd thought and was wondering if he wore any thing to correct his vision maybe contacts or glasses and he didn't have them on or contacts in maybe he couldn't really see that well. Most men sleep in there boxers or what ever maybe he didn't want to go outside in only his underwear he called his mom to see if Holly was suppose to be home or if anyone else was suppose to be on the property that morning, IDK just some random thoughts.
I was also reading on Darden topix yesterday, some pretty wild theories there, but my dad always told me where there is a little bit of smoke there is a little bit of fire. And, yes i have a good friend in Lousiana and the southern people do say things a little different than others so i really didn't see anything speech wise with the JVM interview but she wouldn't let any of them finish a sentence with out interupting them.

Remember that sometimes, when there's smoke, someone is just burning their trash.

About the article/s, very interesting that the parents are letting the media in...and I mean "in" the home.

Now, Woof Go Dot has nominated quite a few "responsible" folks to get the hard-copies of these articles. It seems that Oriah has picked up the mantel and I am so glad. My bike doesn't have a basket, my sack is too small, my butt is too big and my mouth is too loud. Gobble.

I believe the lunch was in a pack that crosses over your abdomen-so, it would have taken more time to sit there and wait for her to pull it over her head rather than just walk away with it still on her.

When I leave my house with any of my bags, and I am going to my car just outside, I just sling them quickly over my shoulder so I can throw them in the passenger seat. I don't go to the trouble of putting them over my head at that point. That is just me though.

This case is a mess. Whole lotta unknowns. I have a feeling, though, that if that was her scream, it happened near the blood. If she screamed in the woods, I think that the perp would have grabbed her to silence her, and in the scuffle, some evidence would have been found, esp since she was already bleeding from somewhere.

Maybe, in the garage, she screamed out for her brother, who the perp did not expect would be at the home. When they were seen "kneeling," he was duct taping her mouth, and forced her w/weapon into the woods, since he now knew her brother was home.

I'm stumped. :waitasec:

Gobluth-That is why I was sort of imagining something smaller than some of the other examples posted. WIth mine, it was so small and fit me so close that I could drive with it fairly comfortably so I would just throw it over me in the morning. If it was bigger with books and notebooks in it then it makes a bit less sense to me that she would already have it swung over her instead of just throwing it in her car.

I guess we don't really know though. I wonder if they will ever release photos of the recovered objects.

As reported through the media, the neighbor stated she heard “screams coming from the Bobo house.”

The reason I believe the neighbor heard screams coming from the Bobo home and not somewhere closer to her own home is because:

1) Sound travels unimpeded over water (i.e, there are many ponds and lakes in the area); and

2) If it is hilly terrain, sound will travel from hilltop to hilltop a greater distance with the same intensity as if the sound was coming from someplace closer.

Therefore, I believe the screams originated from the Bobo house (either Holly or the perp screamed, yelled, hollered or shrieked.)

Ok, I watched "Criminal Minds" last night so I have all the answers.........

It was about a unsub (see I know what to call him) who was stabbing some people and shooting others. None of those who were attacked with a knife screamed out the others did.

The profiler said that people confronted with a knife didn't scream because they are terrified. People are more afraid of a knife than a gun. When confronted with a gun most people scream out.

I got this from "Criminal Minds" so it must be true..................:floorlaugh:

I certainly don't have all the answers, but I do have theories.

One theory being the perp could have holllered at Holly to do as he said. Maybe she was in shock and he snapped her out of it by yelling at her.

I don't really.... especially in light of what happened to Holly.

By all accounts Holly and Drew were very close. It seems like the Bobo family would be close to Drew and or his family too. The fact that they are in communication also would mean that the family did not suspect Drew.

I would find it more odd if the family totally cut him off...
