Thinking about the mom wishing for help from the President...I wonder if she has a certain suspect in mind and has been told by LE that this person is cleared, something like that, and she doesn't believe it? It has always appeared to me that she felt Holly was in a very specific danger on that morning, once she knew she had not gone to school as planned. JMO

Don't know if I would read too much into KB's appeal to the President... I felt it was simply done spontaneously out of frustration..

I have to speak up about the fundraiser that was cancelled recently. The FB group that has been following and promoting Holly's case since the beginning had apparently planned the big day. I never read where they were going to pay the crazy SAR group led by Tony Calabreese. They were, however, trying to raise money to help a reputable SAR group come and help the family. Apparently, Karen said they needed prayers but had enough other help. That was not very well received on the page.

I keep going back to the very first reports which I saw that first day of the crime. It caught my attention because it said, "Home Invasion." My mind jumped to the Petit family of CT. Matter of fact, if you Google "Home Invasion," you will likely get articles related to the Petit family. I have rarely heard those exact words...."Home Invasion."

I cannot get beyond that initial description concerning Holly's disappearance, because I find it odd....It makes me think that LE-and the Bobo's- are withholding something from us now. Could the perp/s have entered the home? Did Holly answer the door to someone she knew? Clint was reportedly in bed asleep....

Where did they get "Home invasion?"

I have a very hard time understanding this case. We all need to follow the KISS rules again and go back to the beginning.

Somebody woke up and got dressed in their camo diggs, gets a gun and goes to the Bobo property to abduct a girl, instead of hunt turkeys. Full camo gear. He argues with a pretty girl, takes her with him and leaves her blood at the scene. He later drops off a lunchbox by the side of the road and throws more stuff in the center of town near the school she was supposed to be that day.

She carried her stuff with her AFTER she was wounded and into the woods. Do I buy that? NO WAY. So was this guy carrying a rifle or anything? CB never said.

Either her things were already in the perp's car or CB neglected to notice she had everything with her, including her cell. If I were wounded by a perp, I don't think I would be carrying my stuff with me into the woods. So was the perp carrying her books, lunch and purse, along with his rifle/gun/w/e? I doubt it.

Well. I hope karen bobo gets her help from Obama, whatever form of help it is that shes wanting. Im sure its very frustrating for the family, callung TBI every single day, and every day the same "no news today" answer. IIRC Clint is no longer in school& says he spends his days giving out flyers. And dana continues to search. This poor family- i hope they get closure soon.

TBI, FBI type people don't tell victim's family anything from what I can tell. They would have much better luck with their pastor/sheriff. I am getting the impression the Bobos aren't happy with their local LE at the moment.

I see the term Home invasion all the time here. Maybe it is a geographical thing?

There is one in the paper once a month and what it means here is someone bust into an home while people are in the home. They can enter though door or windows and even if the unlocked door is open and walked into it is still considered a home invasion. The difference is if the door was open ,you might have to explain why you shot them a little more then if they "broke " in.

Still the term doesnt seem to fit unless the suspect did enter the house.

BBM:
That's actually not entirely true, I don't think. Check 750 Sec 110a

A 'dwelling' includes structures attached to, or on property of.
A 'home invasion' (this is a state to state law, I believe) requires the dwelling, a dangerous weapon, an intent to commit a felony in the dwelling- and that another person is lawfully present in the dwelling at the time of the invasion.

Maybe an attorney could verify? I'm going off of memory here.

But I do believe that to be why the 'home invasion' report was put out there.
Does that make any sense at all?

Its my belief that at some point Holly and the suspect were in part of the house ie the garage and that the original use of "home invasion" is accurate

The home invasion was subsequently refuted by LE and they specifically said the supsect was never inside the home. Would they include the garage as part of the house?

Yes, I believe so. And any other dwelling on the property.

In her most recent interview, KB stated that if we knew all of the facts, no one would be pointing a finger at Clint. Well… hello? May we have all of the facts? Then we can help solve this case and point a finger in the right direction.

I assume LE is directing the Bobo family not to release certain facts about the case.

But why is this case being treated like it’s a big secret? We want to help. We want to find Holly.

Who is this secretive nature protecting? Holly is not home. She’s missing. So it’s not protecting her!

Why is it a big secret who the POI is? Does LE really not have anyone they’re looking at under their brows?

Is LE waiting to find Holly before naming a suspect? What if they never find her? Does that mean LE will never name anyone as a suspect?

This post has turned out to be a questionnaire. :crosseyed:

jmo

Hard to say... they may or may not have a suspect. But there could be a good reason for not naming him in public. Maybe they don't want to tip their hand, or cause him to flee the country. OR on the remote chance that Holly is still alive and being held somewhere against her will, they would not want the suspect to know they have any idea who he is, to protect her life.

LE has good reasons for doing what they do, we just might not understand them at the time. At least I HOPE they know what they're doing in this case. It would be terrifying to find out they're all a bunch of bumbling fools who don't have a clue. I want to believe they know a whole lot more than we do, and the family knows SOME more than we do, but still doesn't know everything.

I could be wrong, but that term may not necessarily mean invasion of the house itself. They could be using the term to mean someone came onto the property unlawfully to commit a crime. In LE's perspective the word "home" means the house as well as the yard, carport, garage, etc.

Just to note... We don't know that the suspect was in full camo gear. Clint only said he was wearing camo clothes. I see guys wearing camo shirts and/or pants all the time... that is NOT full camo gear, IMO.

Not much happening, but did see this news article. Though nothing new, it shows the case is being kept in the news... compared to some other cases, the family is doing a good job with that. IMO

And this is why, imo, they should say the heck with LE, we will do whatever it takes to find our daughter. Get professional SAR teams like TES, Laura Recovery or KlaasKids.

"Of course, their answer is, 'not today,'" she said. "We're just not hearing anything, and of course, almost six months into it, it just gets more frustrating every day and harder every day."

Professional SAR works with LE, at all times. If they don't- they're not professional SAR. Make sense?

None of those orgs will come out without the blessing of LE.

I saw a poster mention a gun .where did that come from? Was there a gun? I have only slighty followed but did follow news . I am lacking some informtion but I never saw a gun mentioned.

Holly was bleeding her blood was found in a carport(not garage)
Her brother heard voices and looked an thought it was Hollys boyfriend drew.
He then sees her dragged off after hearing something but when he got outside she was gone.
something about him and a shower
There is no composit sketch (which baffles me ,he did see someone might help to try )
The person who took Holly is said to be male.

Is there a description of the male? Like height weight and that? And if there is does it truely match up with drews description?

Are the police looking for a specific type of car or truck? I also thought I saw something about looking for a car with Damage to it . Is that a rumor?

What are the basic facts?
