Just a few comments about this video, first the editing of this video is terrible.

1. If Holly's car was parked where the tan Chevy pickup truck is parked, as Karen seems to indicate...and clearly that area is blocked from view at the back door window by the north wall of the carport itself..how did Clint see the silhouettes. Either there is a door or window inside the carport, or Holly and the perp would have had to have been outside the carport in the driveway, or Clint has to be outside the house looking into the Garage. (Its still not clear how he saw the silhouettes is my point, although other parts become more clear)

2. If the scream which causes a neighbor some considerable distance away become alerted enough to call 911 comes from the carport where there the blood is found..the same area where Clint heard voices of his sister and someone else...How is it possible that he didn't hear the scream...If this video provides anything, its a perspective that distance between the house and the carport where some kind of assault on Holly must have occurred is very very close to where Clint was...to me it seems like no more than 20 to 30 feet. The scream can't have come from the carport.

So to me (IMO) the facts indicate that Holly is initially assaulted in the carport, probably caught by surprise as she rounds the corner, with the perp holding her at gun or knife point so that she doesn't call out. The he convinces her to walk with him north into the woods, it appears to me toward Swan Johnson Rd. She is injured, scared, and most likely in shock. She walks with the perp into the woods, but at some point manages to scream...which the neighbor hears, and calls 911. Clint calls mom and says Holly is walking into woods with BF which doesn't compute so she goes into mom freak out mode. Very likely the scream could have happened while Clint was on the phone with Karen, otherwise why wouldn't he hear it. Maybe even Karen was freaking out yelling, and so Clint didn't hear Holly scream.

To me Clint's story is much more clear and believable after seeing this video..although it remains unclear as to how saw the silhouettes, it seems to me we are simply missing a fact, such as the existence of the window into the carport.

I agree about the window. But the info I've heard has led me to believe that the scream may have occurred when the abductor surprised Holly. Clint was sleeping and the just scream didn't wake him up (which makes sense to me but I'm a heavy sleeper). The dog going nuts did wake him up (which also makes sense to me because the dog barking and running around the house is too much for me to sleep through).

I do think the abductor would have heard the dog barking inside the house and probably wasn't worried about it because they still lingered in the carport (or wherever Clint saw the silhouettes) and then just walked her off the property (not hurried her)...this makes me doubt he thought anyone else was inside. Maybe he was confident that Holly was supposed to be the only one at home at that time (did he actually know that Clint was not supposed to be at home that day?). Maybe the abductor even asked Holly if anyone was in the house and she lied to protect Clint (if she were at gunpoint).

This case has been botched since moment one. The initial reports were either very correct and later changed for some purpose, or incorrect from the start. Since that moment, everything has been a blur. If we have been given any facts, we have no way to verify them. LE hasn't even given the family the information they have, if we can believe LE. Their tactics do not impress me one bit, so sorry to say

After seeing the video, I am more convinced that Holly was taken by someone she knew...either generally "knew" or perhaps knew well. The motive: Sexual or sexual/revenge, or sexual/obsession.
The family may have their suspects....as do LE. But no Holly...and not much evidence.

Holly....you are not forgotten. Whatever has happened, your loved ones want you home.

When I think about the guy coming right up to the house to get Holly, the whole feel of her abduction is different versus her being led away from out back further from the house. But I'm still confused as to why KB says CB couldn't describe the perp better since, as it turns out, they were so close to the house. :waitasec:

Plus does the hunter bring the dead turkey right up to their house? Don't they have like a 'fish house' or something? Can you tell I'm a northern girl?
I'm recalling that CB initially thought the blood he saw was from a turkey. That made more sense to me when I thought the garage was further away from the house.

So who is the neighbor who says he heard a scream, who lives in a trailer on his mother's property who was a first responder to the house?
Who is that guy? Not his name of course but his character?

1. Why, oh why, did Clint call his mom, instead of walking outside to see
who was with his sister?
2. Why, oh why, if Clint thought Holly was with her boyfriend, did he not
simply step outside to say, "Hey guys, what's up?"
3. Why, oh why, did Clint see his sister kneeling in the attached
garage/carport and think she and her boyfriend were viewing a turkey?
4. Why, oh why, did Clint not hear his sister's loud scream, when a
neighbor some distance away heard it and was scared....scared
enough to call 911 and drive straight over to the Bobo home?
5. Why, oh why, did Holly, who was indeed injured enough to bleed, walk
away with her lunch bag and books? Did shock cause this...or did the
perp instruct her to "Get up and get your stuff!"
6. Why, oh why, did Clint not call 911? Now we can't be absolutely sure
that he didn't...but we know three 911 calls were made that morning.
Clint is not one of the three.
7. If Clint did indeed look outside to see his sister being led away by a person
he thought was her boyfriend...Why, oh why did he not call out...why, oh
why didn't he call out? "Hey, where are you going Holly? Don't you have
a big exam today? You're gonna be late!"
8. When Clint's mom told him to give chase, Why, oh why didn't he get a better
look at the perp? Perhaps he did...but if he did....
9. Why, oh why would LE not release a sketch to the public?
10. Why, oh why did LE, who responded so quickly to the scene, not set up
roadblocks and use other rapid tactics to catch this perp?
11. Why, oh why, was Holly's cell phone found where is was? Was it a plant?
12. Why, oh why, can't we know more about what lead to the discovery of
Holly's phone?

I am not sure that I am allowed to post about BB's Facebook page, but I read on other forums about a VERY disturbing post by BB on his page. It is a cartoon that he posted that hits a little too close to home. Please delete this post if I've overstepped the bounds.

Wow. That was very inappropriate unless they know for 100% something like that happened. :(

Maybe someone does know. If we are allowed to talk about it...I'd look at some other stuff on his Facebook too. A few posts below the post mentioned above. Shovel is mentioned...

Yep...I think she knew the perp/s.

Just to make sure it's totally clear... and possibly make you guys feel better about this? :seeya:

A.) BB posted that picture AFTER SB did. BB stole it from SB. (Did I lose you yet?)

B.) The picture came from a page of pictures, where BB and SB post other pictures from.
Some of them are funny, some are offensive, some are serious/insightful.
It definitely isn't the only offensive picture... and probably not even the most offensive picture there.
It's also not the only one of that cartoon character or cartoon characters in general.

I DO agree it's definitely in poor taste given the situation. :twocents:

C.) The shovel comment didn't originate from BB, it was brought up by CC.

When you look down Holly's friends list, the number of people who STILL have her picture as their profile picture is amazing.
BB has one picture of her and no mention of her being missing. It's possible the guy didn't even think about it...

Did he really look at that cartoon and have it even connect to Holly in his brain? I'm not so sure... :waitasec:

Do I think BB thought about Holly when posting this cartoon on his FB? Absolutely.

There are several of these guys who are very questionable. And LE knows it. Enough said about that....

I agree that he knew exactly what he was doing and has since changed his profile picture to a picture of he and HB. I am not sure whether he is being a smart-a** or whether he is truly trying to "make a statement", but he seems to like to play with fire.

District Attorney Hansel McCadams told the Jackson Sun Wednesday that Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents still work on the case every day.

“Holly’s investigation is still ongoing,” he said. “As long as investigators receive new information a case stays open, and the TBI receives new information on the case almost daily.”
McCadams said the information is not necessarily “new leads” and includes information people call in.

Thanks n~t for posting this.

I did have to wonder why Pastor Don Franks is listed as the spokesman for the family all along, when it was Kevin Bromley, the pastor of another church,
who was the spokesman.
He isn't even mentioned.
His wife, Terri was acting as the school secretary that day and took Karen home.

Have the Bromleys distanced themselves?
Have the Bobos from them?

One thing I have noticed all along in this case is history gets a re-write every couple of months.

Before the reporter reminds the reader that she walked away into the woods with a man in camo, you'd never know it by the first paragraph where she is a lost member who is hoped to be found.

One year.

The way I looked at the cartoon was he knows her.
His brother knows her.
They know the people in town.
They know everybody's connections and history in a way
that posters here never will, unless you are local.

If this is a subtle hint as to what locals much closer to the situation
and back channels privately think, who am I to quibble?

Instead of being judgemental about it, I filed it away like every
other snippet that comes along.
