You may be right that the dog was in its kennel but in the video when the reporter was there, it was running loose. Where would the kennel be kept in your opinion? Still, one would think it would be barking like crazy. Would the neighbours hear it? Would they have mentioned the dog barking?

BBM

Not if it was someone the dog knew.

It's possible that the dog barked at around 7:40 when Holly allegedly screamed, according to the neighbors south of her.

BTW, this lady was on tv news and talked of hearing the scream/screams.

Ok, and someone pointed this out earlier and wish I could credit them, but can't remember. If Holly should have left at 7:30 and Clint didn't know anything else for several minutes I think(?) And then called Karen it would be close to 8:00. If IIRC Drew should of been at work by 8:00. If he was really hunting he would have been in the woods much earlier, before daybreak anyway. If he was stopped and not allowed wouldn't the call have come much earlier? 5 to 6 maybe? to as I seem to remember a report of some calls to try and straighten it out. I can't see them doing that at close to 8 if Drew was stopped from hunting much earlier. I guess its possible that when stopped he and his Dad may of just gone home and attempted to straighten it out later. I guess we won't know unless phone records are released.

My guess on why Drew waited so long to call is that maybe he did not want to risk waking anyone too early! Sometimes parents aren't too happy if calls come too early or too late! Perhaps he did hunt for awhile and then was discovered on the grandmother's land. It might have been later that he was confronted by someone who didn't know he had permission to hunt! By that time, he probably had to get home and clean up for work. Maybe he called the Bobo home while he was driving. All this is pure supposition, as we don't have any facts, but I don't necessarily think it is problematic that he called later.

So is it 2 neighbours who heard screams? There was a lot of confusion at the time it was revealed the neighbour was the son. Everyone thought it was the woman who was on tv but then Karen told the media it was the son of a neighbour.

I believe they all try to get out and set up before sunup.

It could be that Drew's presence wasn't noticed until after 7:00.

What baffles me is this: This was not the first day of turkey hunting, it likely was not the first day Drew had gone turkey hunting, Drew had been with Holly for a year.
Who on the grandmother's property didn't "recognize" Drew ?

That baffles me also and I've wondered who actually stopped Drew from hunting. Sometimes families can have problems between different members and it can be over something simple. I've seen it and lived it on my Mom's side of families, some haven't spoken in years.

After reviewing my post about the times I don't think I made it clear. If Drew was stopped from hunting around sunrise and called Karen to help straighten it out, then how could she be sure where he was later that morning when she told Clint it wasn't Drew with Holly? If its confirmed he was at work by 8 I guess its not possible he could have been who Clint saw. But I'm wondering if he planned on hunting, did he make arrangements to be late to work that morning? I would like to get the timeline and get the times of the phone calls straight. JMO

Clint was reported to be working 2 jobs and going to school. I believe he got home late, because he was coming from his 2nd/night job.

He wasn't supposed to be at home the next morning; he was supposed to be at school/job, but he stayed home to write a paper for school.

The night before (April 12,) he was at home on his cell phone with a friend who was at a concert, and he listened to it with his cell phone.

Thank you. I remember that now, but I can't remember where I read it and if it was a fact. It may of been in one of the families interviews now that I think about it.

/I should take notes instead of relying on my fading memory.

Makes you wonder if the timing is all off.

Why are we assuming Holly screamed while in the carport? Since there was blood, she may have been fighting or caught off guard, no time to scream.

Wouldn’t it make more sense that she would be screaming being led (or dragged) to the woods?

jmo

We know from Clint's statements he heard voices and people walking around in the yard before he saw Holly and the suspect in the garage. So exactly where Holly was when she screamed is not known. Originally before the time line was fleshed out, I assumed Holly screamed at some point AFTER the abduction, when she was in the woods or at some point away from the house. But now it seems the scream was very early on at the start of it all. I can only assume she did not make more noise later on because she was either stunned/hurt (perhaps from a blow that caused the blood) or in fear (despite Clint's claim that she didn't seem to be in fear).

A friend of Holly's asked me to post this-here's hoping she is dancing to it somewhere. Holly you are missed, and someone is going to find you.....never fear.

Been praying for Holly and all of the many other missing, young, petite, blonde women, like Mickey Shunick. And, if they are still missing, that may mean they are still alive, being held somewhere.

It truly makes one wonder if something larger than most people can imagine is going on.

I hope that Holly isn't being forced to dance for some captor; however, I do hope that she is keeping that dance of hope alive in her mind. I know there are some truly brave and intelligent people out there who are searching.

Not dance for a captor- or anyone other than herself I hope.

Holly loves to sing, loves music, and dance. So just a hope that wherever Holly is:

And for sure, there are people still searching for Holly!

bbm How do you know this or is it just speculation? If you know this as fact, would you mind sharing with the rest of us. It would be great to know there are many still physically searching. Is it a SAR team?

TIA

Is it your belief that no one is looking for her?

So is it 2 neighbours who heard screams? There was a lot of confusion at the time it was revealed the neighbour was the son. Everyone thought it was the woman who was on tv but then Karen told the media it was the son of a neighbour.

I believe it was reported the male neighbor heard the scream, but he had to get to work, so he asked his mother, who was reported to live in separate quarters on the same property as him to check on the Bobo's. The mother apparently tried to call Karen at school. Karen was at school, separated from her phone. So, the female neighbor got in her car and drove over to the Bobo's house. Clint was outside, and she told him they had heard screams. By then, he had seen the blood, so he called 911.

I'm hoping these details are accurate. I'm going from memory. Wish someone would post a link to the neighbor interview if there is one!

--------------

There was this perp. named John Jamelski, a millionaire, who built a dungeon under his house in NY. He held women he kidnapped captive for years, and forced them to dance for him and with him.

It has happened, and there is nothing to say that it couldn't happen again in another setting, different person(s).

It is my belief that no SAR team is looking for her. I do believe the family and friends continue to put up flyers around town and perhaps in other States or even across the border to Mexico to raise awareness.

As for searching the woods, there hasn't been anything mentioned in the media since the paragliders. One would assume if any search activity was spotted, it would reported but maybe not. Who was that reporter who was very involved in Holly's case early on? He would report immediately if there was anything going on in the area. As a matter of fact, I think it was not too long ago that some LE activity did occur but he reported it was unrelated to Holly's case. He hasn't been around since.

Sorry don't recall his name off the top of my head. Perhaps others will remember.

Early on a female neighbour was the one who was on television claiming she heard the scream that is why I asked if there were two separate witnesses to the scream or was the story changed.

  • #738
Which leads to the question: Does this make Clint an unreliable witness?

Did Clint's mother call him with her concerns about Holly, and he blew her off? Oh, my. That certainly would change things.

jmo

Following this case is frustrating and bizarre.
I really hope LE knows more than they are saying.
Why is Holly's family silent?

BBM: Why is that?

Did Karen say there were searches going on when she was interviewed on Holly's 1 year anniversary? I would rewatch the video but I have no speakers at work. I don't recall her saying anything about searches.
