Holly's parents and brother are on WSMV tonight. Watching now. As soon as they link it I will post it.

from today
"Next, they walked down a 4-wheeler path in the nearby woods. The Bobo family dog, Champ, followed, wagging his tail the whole way"

is this the first we have heard about the dog following along? Probably not important, but just seems strange the dog would follow along as she left with a stranger.

Never seen before images in Holly Bobo Case

In the video, the reporter states, "She was pulled into the woods." She says it twice, reiterating that Clint saw her "pulled into the woods." This is confusing because I thought it was said in the past (by Clint) that Holly and her captor were walking side by side?

I'm thinking the reporter is getting this wrong (*sigh*) because if Clint saw Holly being "pulled into the woods," he would have known something was wrong.

Who carried Holly's bag, purse, etc? Did the guy have a shotgun? The dog followed??? Wait a sec...which dog?

Who told them the dog walked a two minute walk on the path?

Isn't Champ the house dog? Well, now that I am totally confused.....what else is new in this case?

No, the inside dog; Holly's dog's name is Rascal..

I think the inside dog's name is Rascal.

Foxfire: It looks like we're synchronized.

Well, I always thought the guy was waiting for her in her car so that's not new but when did the dog return and how do they know the dog followed the perp and Holly?

So FINALLY we hear about the outside dog. I have been asking about him from the very beginning....

this case just gets weirder every time there is new information. so, according to the new video -

1) she walked out of her kitchen door to her car, which was parked in the attached carport, less than ten feet away from the kitchen door. the carport has a partial wall in the middle (creating two separate bays for parking).

2) they indicate the window cb was viewing from was the kitchen door window, about ten feet from her car's driver side door.

3) the garage is away from the house about thirty feet from the kitchen door (through the carport), with the garage doors facing the house and carport

4) cb looked through the kitchen door window, through the carport, to the right of the garage and saw them walking into the woods

5) the dog named "champ" followed them into the woods

6) family believes perp was hiding between her driver side door and the carport wall, watching the reflection in her driver side front bumper for her to open the kitchen door.

7) the path in the woods is reported as two minutes from a main road. family believes perp had car on main road.

8) her bedroom has one window, with blinds and curtains. her bed faces the window, with the bottom of the bed about five feet from the window (upthread there had been questions about someone watching her in her room).

9) the kitchen has a window, separate from the kitchen door window (approx five feet to the left) that looks out directly to where her car is parked. her car is approximately five feet from this window. at 0:41 you can see the stove in the reflection of the window. at 0:56 you can see the stove behind cb with the small window directly behind him. the car would have been parked five feet from there.

questions/comments:

1) which door does the rest of the family use to leave the house? if it's the kitchen door then the perp couldn't have been near her car too long or her family would have seen him when they left.

2) i'm confused about cb looking out the kitchen door at them kneeling in the carport - a) unless they were in the very front of her car he couldn't have seen them and there's not much room in front of her car, b) it's not even ten feet away, i'm simply surprised they were that close, i had imagined it to be about thirty or forty feet away. it would have made a lot more sense to look out the kitchen window to the left because you would have been looking at them to your left about five feet away.

3) unless the basic tenets of physics were altered that morning, if the reported scream was her and she was in her carport as indicated, there is no possible way a neighbor 1/4 mi would have heard and someone in the house would not. the location of her car is ten feet from the kitchen door and maybe five feet from the kitchen window.

Karen says she knows someone knows something. Yes Karen. Someone surely does!

This new info has me pulling my hair out. Dog follows wagging his tail. A two minute walk to the main road.

How does this fit in with the timeline and what we already know from previous reports?

When dogs wag their tails, isn't that a playful sign ? Wouldn't he have reacted differently if he sensed Holly was in danger? So the perp let the dog follow them?

Calling all nurses. I noticed air evac lifeteam bracelet on her dresser. As a nursing student, would Holly do some training on air evac? What do you make of this? Are Air Evacs located at hospitals? I wonder if Darden has Air Evacs or if she had to train elsewhere. Probably meaningless except for my attempt at grasping at every single piece of new info I can gather.

In Masootz #7 above... the main road...

Well, I might be blind, but I've been staring at the map looking for a main road... WHAT main road? Does he mean their own road, just a little farther on a curve (that has to be what he means).

Wow the road is not far at all. The perp could have easily walked up to the house from that road. I wonder what the area looks like in April. This time of year, the trees are bare but it doesn't appear as a densely wooded area walking to the road. Totally different perspective from what I originally thought.

You could clearly see it in the video near that tree house or whatever it is. Not sure what the main road is called though. Actually it looks like a well and not tree house. I'm a city girl. lol

It's too long to be catchy, but one could title this The Case That Made Less Sense the More They Thought About It.
