Identified! TN - Kingsport, Adult male skeletal in vacant lot, Mar'12 - Antonio Wyatt

Here's the full statement issued tonight.

"On 03/14/12 at around 1pm, a survey crew located human skeletal remains on a vacant lot on Executive Park Blvd. Officers and Detectives of the Kingsport Police Department responded to the scene to investigate. The human skeletal remains are believed to be of an adult male. The University of Tennessee Anthropological Research Team was contacted and they responded to the scene. They recovered the remains for further investigation"

Charley Project lists only one adult male missing from Kingsport:

... However, his unusual bone structure (he has a condition similar to dwarfism) would be quickly identifiable.

A comment on the article mentions Cody Scott Matney of Bristol TN, missing since 2002.

Bristol is only about 20 miles from Kingsport.

That area in Kingsport was not really developed in 2002. There has been quite a bit of development over the past few years and it keeps moving west toward Bristol. I would not be surprised if it is Cody Matney, because 11W is West State Street in Bristol and turns into East Stone drive in Kingsport.
