Found Safe TN - Mariah Sue Brackett, 20, Murfreesboro, 21 Sept 2020

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Murfreesboro Police Department announced the search for a missing 20-year-old woman Wednesday.

20-year-old Mariah Sue Brackett was last seen near the 1000 block of NW Broad Street on September 21. Police say Brackett's boyfriend told them that she left and said she was going to stay with a friend for the night. When she didn't return, that's when he says he reported her missing.

Brackett has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database as a missing person. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call Detective Julia Cox at 629-102-5514.

20-year-old Mariah Sue Brackett was last seen in the area of the 1000 block of NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro on September 21, 2020. There isn't anything residential in the 1000 block of NW Broad Street. The closest would be the Motel Murfreesboro at 1102 NW Broad. So either she was seen by someone or on video in the 1000 block of NW Broad or the block address provided is wrong.

It is unclear to me whether the boyfriend waited a week to report her missing or if police waited a week to go public.

Also concerning that there aren't any posts out on FB by family or friends about her missing.

You're right, doesn't seem to be any homes, it's a downtown area. There are some restaurants across the street from the motel, maybe she was caught on camera there?

I looked at all the comments on the news stories, mostly prayers offered. One person said she was a sweet soul, taught her as a child in school. That's it!

Are we to assume that she lived with the bf? If so, where? Does she have a vehicle? Did she leave walking? Do the police know the friend she went to stay with? Does she have a phone? Did she take anything with her when she left?

Ugh I hate reading that the boyfriend was the last one to see her...praying for a different outcome than what seems to be the norm in so many cases.

UPDATE: BOLO CANCELED!!! Mariah Sue Brackett contacted law enforcement after seeing the missing person's BOLO and reported she is safe and not in any danger.
