Yes indeed. As I posted upthread, they certainly had a lot of pep after such a long day; especially the GMa who had a knee ailment to the point where she had to get a scrip. I must be missing something...

Amateur opinion and speculation
And as others have pointed out, not even a cute photo to document the activity. So here we are left with the last image of Summer that we know about....apparently sleeping, leaning against cold milk jugs in a truck. The last images we see her moving and playing in the water at the pond. I really wonder what LE is using for verification that she made it back home that day.

I am certain of one thing. The individuals in the circle are odd to start. Several distrust LE. Rural eastern TN has had children abducted in recent years. One victim was located around 2016. I don't see a stranger abduction in this case. I also don't see a murder. Everything is possible. I was surprised A has not appeared to put aside past issues with C to supporther in looking for Summer unless she has. It was interesting H had a theory of a dry drowning which I don't think he thought of on his own. I would do anything to help a missing child no matter how I felt about the parents. I don't get bashing even horrible parents until the child is found. Also need to keep in mind there are times the truth is stranger than fiction.

Sometimes I think that all the obfuscation, changing stories, etc is meant to kind of distract us from where this sad tale began that day, at the pond, with a possible "going under water" incident.

I don’t think LE has verified she made it home. They have her last seen at early afternoon that day, iirc. That is the last independent sighting.

A part of him expects her to be alive, yes. JMO. It's all he has to hold on to. Would anyone with a conscience try to deny him that? He's drowning here and is grasping at any life saver he can. It's disheartening to know that some would (presumably) want to throw him an anchor instead. IMO

He's also said that he'll see her in the resurrection (I don't know what that means but I think he means the afterlife?). He's totally discombobulated and all over the place. Completely understandable! He's said many things as he's trying to work through this. Unfortunately, it's taking place in the public eye. He just doesn't understand that it's self-harming.

He knows that the authorities know everything there is to know about them - it's the FBI, after all!!! I don't think he fears they are coming after him. He's not in hiding. He's cooperated. He's available. He's put it all out there. He's made himself vulnerable. He's too consumed with fear as to what has happened to his daughter; what is happening with his wife; what his future looks like (possibly without his beloved daughter and the rest of his family back together again) to be concerned with that. IMO
Thank you for this, you explain it much better than I. I'm agreeing with your assessment and I see the situation with the same eyes.
And it breaks my heart that not everyone sees with eyes of compassion.
I cannot begin to imagine the depth of despair that would ensue from the theft of a child.

I have also wondered about this. Where are they dumping her waste? I would think improper disposal would be an environmental hazard.
There is a hose to run from the camper directly into the septic system, just like at a campground. Or, there are trucks that come around to pump out the holding tanks. I don’t think it’s been noted just how they (the Wells) are handling this though.

Thanks.
Have you got any links to other missing children or do you happen to know if they shared any common theme?
I'm wondering why they were taken?
With Summer it's all about they why of it for me and my brain constantly swings on that access...
If we knew the why, we could possibly find the where.

In my opinion DW is doing anything he possibly can to prove that he is innocent. A little too much sometimes and his stories change or are embellished.
He wants everyone to think he knows everything but remember he does know the system from his past experiences.

CW is very quiet now, maybe she is listening to advice I don't know. I hope she is well under the circumstances of everything, her daughter missing, the boys taken away and DW.

CH has always been quiet and now she is out of state. I wish that CM could have interviewed her before she left. Maybe he tried and she refused, who knows.

I believe a lot is still missing from that day but somebody knows.

So here's the thing: IMOO!

Every Law Enforcement Agency available is being used in this case. Searches have been carried out, statements have been taken, phones have been seized for information and substantiation, lie detector tests have been given, and all information LE feels pertinent to this case has been thoroughly examined.
By now they know the direction of this case.

The Question to ask is WHY is "everyone still a suspect"?
What do they need to make an arrest?
Perhaps the most important information they can obtain lies with Summer herself. Even in her death, she will be able to help them find her killer. The dead do speak.
....and all the videos and interviews and microscopic analysis of every word spoken, by everyone involved, is just white noise to an already thorough investigation waiting for one last piece of evidence....I for one certainly hope so !

Here is something to think about. If grandma knew she was going to leave for a period of time. Why did she even bother transplanting the 'flowers' into different pots? Because anyone who gardens or has houseplants knows that transplanted plants/flowers need plenty of water to grow strong roots in the new soil. And why was transplanting those plants suddenly important on that day?
In CM's interview with CB, she shows him the garden area. The "flowers" IMO are succulents (ie plants similiar to cacti) that don't require much soil or water. Plus even though CH was planning on leaving, CB would still be there to care for the garden.
Also, IMO, lots of people buy flowers or plants and do not plant them immediately.

Again, MOO I am not sure that this has much to do with Summer's disappearance.

Do we know if she shopped for plants during the 10 minute visit to Priceline for milk and cheese?

With the utmost respect, I think this is inaccurate information, the dispatch call went out at 6:32pm and Police arrive approx 40mins later ... just after 7pm..... while Summer was still missing...

JMO
The 7 pm listed time is the time LE contacted the Hawkins County Emergency Management Agency to report Summer missing and to request assistance. The agency simply used the timestamp of when they were contacted by LE - not when Summer was reported missing. Msm used the agency's information and added in the "walking," probably after listening to the police scanner.*

So no big conspiracy, just the initial story from the night of June 15. In the majority of missing person cases the first story released often changes as reporters gain more information. No biggie. IMO it just shows that msm gets stuck in the game of telephone too. ;)

MISSING CHILD!!! PLEASE SHARE!!!
Hawkins County Emergency Management Agency is currently assisting with a search operation in the Beech Creek community of Hawkins County, Tennessee. Multiple local, regional, and state agencies are searching for a 5 year old female from the ground and air around Ben Hill Road. Hawkins County Emergency Management / Hawkins County Emergency Communications Communication / Command Trailer is deployed assisting with communications and command needs. If anyone has any information please contact Hawkins County Emergency Communications at 911 or (423)-272-7121.

Mass notification message:

Can anyone recall where it was that CW said that Summer was wearing that " outfit " except for the pink hoodie thing when she went missing ? I am sure I heard her say that somewhere, but now I can't find it to link it.

As to the steep hill. My friends and i used to scoot down a steep hill on our behinds and crawl back up clinging to tufts of grass. We were about six. We thought it was fun.

Yeah, cacti in even tiny pots don't really ever have to be transplanted. They are grown that way on purpose and have tiny, shallow root systems. DutchTreat I hadn't really thought of the transplanting. So if they were cacti, there was absolutely no rush whatsoever to get them into the ground.
If they were plants, ie wildflowers, taken from the ground, they would never be transplanted in the heat of a summer day. It would kill the leaves right away. Better to stick them in water, roots and all, and transplant after the sun goes down, and shade them for a week or more.

The whole transplanting story is very curious. IMO
Pbi- I agree wild flowers / many plants that are planted in the heat ( and even sometimes when it’s cooler) will more than likely be very limp for many hours even after being thoroughly watered. That is… if they don’t die.

Maybe I saw the wrong plants but the ones in pots (in interview) look like a couple of weeds in each one surrounded by rocks and a few of Summer’s toys. Not really plantings at all. It couldn’t have taken more than a couple of minutes to stick them in soil.

I think the whole transplanting thing is odd.
They had been up and about all day, on a hot day. Why not do such a thing early in the morning or when it has cooled down.

But if they took some flowers from that waterhole, they would have had to be planted right away.
Do succulents grow by a waterhole?

Its not parceled out. It's their home, the sheds we saw in the video. And of course all the motor vehicles sitting around with the rest of the miscellaneous "stuff" they collect.
What is the cute little mother in law cottage looking building that is covered by tree branches?

No, she said the plants had been sitting around for awhile and needed to be transplanted. There was never any mention of buying plants that day.
