I think some of the stuff that follows (again quoted from the url in post #498) shows that NBC no longer has any respect for Cruise and thinks his career is over (IMO).

Tomkat were having a TomKitten. It quickly became the most photographed embryo in the history of mankind and from the inside too! Cruise bought a sonogram machine for those in-utero Kodak moments.

But in pictures, the once-radiant actress often looked secluded and gloomy.

If NBC still considered him noteworthy, I cannot imagine they would allow him to be slammed as much as he was in some of the clips. I do believe Matt Lauer and NBC had the last laugh on Tom... and all of it was brought about by Tom's own ridiculous actions in the last year. I'm lovin' it!

The police reports were an interesting read. i get the impression Cruise was being stalked and it made for uncomfortable realisation the photogaphers following every movement of celebrities are a different breed.

in this instance i don't think Cruise was being paranoid.

as for positive coverage of him, certainly Cruise's credibility has ceased to exist, IMO.

he's had his chips, might as well cash them in and wander off to the land of 'former superstar' and retire from front of camera. no doubt he can continue to play a role in Hollywood as a producer and keep earning so long as his name isn't promenatly figured on any property turned out.

LOL, Julia, over the lil' freak wagging his arm and jumping up and down. If you watch him on TV, he truly looks like a man who dove over the edge into the deep end. Every movement he makes, including that chit-eating grin, are so exaggerated as to send alarm bells off in my head. He's a little scary, and there is NOTHING real about him. It's all a show for the public. Yesterday I read some trash about how he says "everyone who has a problem calls him". Oh, you bet, Tom. Everyone! He truly is at a point in his Scientology brainwashing where he perceives himself bigger than life. He obviously doesn't have a mirror, or he would know that was a lie!

Well, obviously, the power to perceive if people like you, or are listening to what you say, is not one of the 57 perceptions, or ol' Tom would have somehow "perceived" the public thinks he's nuts.

No, only Tom has commented on seeing her. Not even his BFF the Travolta's have said a word about her.

This is such a joke, (nothing against the innocent baby, poor thing) and it was all for naught. Did Tom really think he needed this "relationship" to boost his box office receipts? He started wigging out at the same time as his "relationship" with Katie, not before.

Well, I expect to see pix of her very, very soon, since Tom will no doubt think showing off his Surigate (thanks for that one, Marthatex!) will boost sagging box office sales of MI3. OTOH, putting the new baby (if there is one) in my lap wouldn't get me off anywhere near one of his creepy movies.

How naive of Tom to name his baby Suri, all it will take is the tabs getting wind of "Surigate" and that will be her "new" name.

Again, why does he feel the need to use his personal life to make it at the box office? Everyone knew he was "out there" with the Scientology stuff before, but as long as he kept it to himself, the public seemed to not care. His divorce from Nicole, affair with Penelope, he managed to still have his fans in his corner. I guess Scientology took the brainwashing up a few notches?
