It's pretty obvious that the Globe and Mail lost no time buying the video for six figures. I wonder if they called the police and put a race on to published the story while they waited. Heh.

Isn't that rather like biting the hand that feeds you? Why would his dealer rat on him? :silly:

To sell a tape for 6 figures to someone who wants it.

I saw him last week before a Raptor game, he was mobbed by people tryjng to take a
picture. I looked at him and thought how do you put up with this on a daily basis.
I hope he takes a rest and gets the help he needs.

What will we do for humour if he leaves? He's just so gosh, darn entertaining. Oh my!

I truly doubt his sincerity wrt rehab ... IMO, it's strictly because he's been caught out again and is trying to turn it into an election ploy.

The only reason Ford is doing rehab is because he was filmed doing drugs again and audiotaped saying disgusting things about women. If these things didn't come out, he would still be doing what he was doing IMO.

Yes- the first thing I thought was "oh, Ford entering rehab? He must be down in the polls this week".

But seriously, this guy is out of control.

Ford repeatedly used the n-word to refer to the drug dealer, and described former Toronto Community Housing boss Eugene Jones, whom he supports, with the same word, the man alleged.

“No n----- gets fired in my town. When I get re-elected that n----- is going to be back in charge,” Ford said, according to the dealer’s account of the night.

.........

In his account of the evening, the drug dealer alleges that Ford three times got Lisi down and pummeled him until Kathy Ford intervened .

“Poor Sandro was crying like a baby,” the dealer said, describing Lisi down on the ground, protecting his face as blows rained down on him from Ford.

“Leave him be, Robbie,” the man recalled Kathy saying.

“He’s the mob,” Ford said, getting up off Lisi.

“Oh right,” Kathy said, rolling her eyes, the man said.

Does he not have a boss? someone that he reports to> Canada needs to amend something there. idk

He should have been arrested a long time ago IMO. Many citizens are arrested on less evidence than him.

His boss would be the people of Toronto. Unfortunately the part of the City of Toronto Act that relates to removal of a mayor stipulates only when a mayor is convicted of a criminal offence (and sent to jail?). Apparently when the Act was developed, they could never have anticipated having the likes of ROFO in the mix.

From what I have read, the provincial legislature could amend the Act to prevent this type of situation in the future (but will they OR will they take a chance of it ever happening again?). All Toronto can do for now is ... wait !!
