Indeed

where are the murder weapons...this is weird...they need to find them

she had over 2000 miles of isolated desert to get rid of them - i don't think they will ever be found - and they prolly had a viking funeral

they don't need them.. and I bet they are not even looking.

(jodi will never give it up either)

oh hey...! That makes me think out loud! Could you imagine if jodi takes the stand what the JUROR questions would be?!!!

1) where did you put the gun and the knife after you killed Travis
2) why did you dye your hair
3) why did you borrow gas cans
4) why did you keep buying all that gas
5) list goes on

hahahahaha

if she takes the stand I bet we spend an entire court day on jury questions!:moo::moo::moo:

The trial itself (when they are actually in session) isn't a very long trial, compared with some of them, but it's the AZ penchant for extremely short court days and days off in between, that take what might be a 1 month trial and stretch it into 2 or 3 months. consider the state called only 20 witnesses during it's CIC, Compared to something like triple the amount of witnesses in other murder trials in other areas in the country. 20 is a very low number for a CIC when you consider there was DNA, a very bloody crime scene, etc. The rebuttal phase will probably bring in several more state witnesses (though I doubt it will be more than 10, if even that). All-in-all, it's not a drawn-out case from that standpoint. Now if only AZ in general, and this court in particular would work a full day and more than 3 days in a row, cases would get resolved so much faster!

If a person has ever personally experienced a stalker, a real one (and I have) once that chapter of your life is behind you, you are a changed person, you never look at men (or women as the case may be) the same. And you are usually able to pick out the traits immediately in people you meet. It is unmistakable and etched in your head.

Sadly this was his first and last and he didn't survive it. But I believe from what we read and heard from his friends, the idea crossed his mind.

He was just too young an inexperienced with this, to fully recognize the danger he could be in to not sever this tie fully and immediately.

i agree. i think he thought he had the situation under control and while he was a little worried, he had no idea what she was capable of doing to him.

but even if he hadn't taken her calls, hadn't called her, or had called the police when she showed up, i'm not sure it would've changed anything. sooner or later, i think she would've killed him anyway.

Thank you. That's exactly the point I was trying to make earlier. Dislike the artist...appreciate the art. Too often judgment has been made based upon disdain for this woman and, therefore, her talent is dismissed.

As an artist myself I judge the art. Mediocre .imo.......

For this case, JA recorded the call in California (2-party consent) with Travis in Arizona (1-party consent).
JA has violated California law. By doing so, she is subject to criminal prosecution, and a civil lawsuit for damages to the victim.

I know and that is what I am saying, if the recording was done in the commission of a crime I don't think it will matter if JA takes the stand, it is still not admissible. Only way I can even *imagine* it coming in is if she asks Travis to state his full name, birthdate, ss# and video records his express consent and knowledge of the recording! And I doubt that happened! LOL
(Exaggerated, but you get my point........... I hope! LOL)

I don't think Jodi is going to take the stand. I realize she "should" if she has any chance of reaching the jury, but at this point, seeing exactly how good Juan M is, I think her attorneys will persuade her (and maybe they won't have to try very hard either) to stay off that stand. Juan is among the best of the best (IMO) and if that wasn't clear to the defense team before, it should be by now.

the thing is that the defense will not be able to say he consented. (unless jodi had him sign a consent form )

The defense has to prove that Travis had knowledge of the phone call being recorded.

The lawyer seems to think is is possible for the recording to be admitted:

Yep...Between Juan and the jury being able to ask her questions, I don't think she will have the nerve.

So we're going to have an identical situation to the FL case.
DT offers DETAILS in a phone conversation they can not produce, and never prove.
I am irate that is allowed.
