Recovered memories??? Wow this is absolute unsupported nonsense. This idiocy was debunked decades ago.

I didn't push the point about the actual event (that would be the murder doc), instead I focused on her sexual exploits and found my pants were getting tight.

:floorlaugh: We need an lol button along with the Thanks button.

I'd like to ask him if what his client told him was self-serving.

I want to know more about Jodi's childhood, but I bet we don't hear it.

Did he take a scan of her brain to determine that her hippocampus shrank? Is she suffering from Altzheimer's? I hope JM is able to cross today, and that the jury is awake to see it.

I don't really have a problem with Dr. Samuels per se. His theories are even interesting. They just don't apply in this case, no matter how much the defense team would like the jury to believe they do. In order to apply his hippocampus and amygdala theories and teachings, one has to believe her story, which is solely the product of sociopathic lies and coaching by her counsel.

I'm ignoring the(jmo) qauck, or is it quack on the stand, and focusing on Mike, because he looks good in that purple shirt, w/ his silver hair....:-)

anyhoo, I have hln on mute, just reading what you all say here;-)

The additional evidence he looked at reinforced his diagnosis.
Someone is gonna call MM to the stand.. Those letters re: pedo were forged.

:blushing:Maybe him and Jodi had a relationship like the therapist from 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'

I'm on HLN, so I'm way behind. But he is lying. He covered his mouth and shifted in his seat when he said he had no urge to confront Jodi after the last, self defense story.

Well don't hate me but I happen to really like this little guy, Dr. Samuels.

He seems very interesting to listen to considering it is such a complex subject.

The jury may also find him refreshing. Of course after Jodi, Charles Manson could seem cuddly.

Seems what he is saying is pertinent to the Defense theory, but I know JM will put a stop to that, I hope.

Ok ... how much is this "expert" being paid for this stellar testimony?

 So much that he was able to abandon clinical practice in favour of forensic work. He said it himself!

Frankly I don't know how someone like this can sleep at night. Surely he must know he's dealing with a pathological liar, so all bets are off.

What's messed up is that this guy is speaking of a legit condition, but Arias is just using it and him to cover up for her heinous, premeditated crime. She's great at playing the victim when she's not being grilled over and over again, I'm sure.

Amen! This guy is so in it for the $$$$$$$$$$$$.

oh this is just so crazy.....

OMG! He's now using personal anecdotes from his graduate student days in BC 325 as expert testimony in this trial... seriously???

Travis had a gun pointed at his head before..not Jodi

none of this is inconsistent with 1st degree premeditated murder.
this "adrenaline" rush most certainly would occur with her. It did not occur with Travis as he was caught off guard with too severe a first blow (whatever it was) He was incapacitated immediately which would prohibit him from any burst of adrenaline.

One must be cognitive of events happening or about to happen to have an adrenaline rush. She had one, she KNEW what was happening and she was not "struck" with anything, so she not only blindsided him so fully... but he didn't expect it, didn't know it was coming so he just went down.

His injury was such it caused him to be unable to have purposeful thoughts even...just maybe moaning or screaming.

She was full of adrenaline and her only shock was he moved, or crawled and she then practically decapitated him after torturing him and yelling at him which I am positive she did.

I'm not a fan of this witness but I think he is harmless, he is not riveting and he sounds predictable. And he is boring them to tears.. keep it up
