'Getting on a horse and trotting away' ??? Da fug?

I wish this guy would do just that!

Humans don't have instincts, we learn behaviors. This guy is not up to speed.

What this guy is testifying to really truly DOES happen. It just didn't happen to Jodi. It's a shame that she's faking what happens to REAL victims.

sooooooo....her automatic fashion is to stab repetedly, slit the throat, move the body and clean up the scene......oooookkkkkk

This testimony is offensive. JA survived TA DID NOT. Wilmot has made a big mistake here in the defense.

Not saying I am sorry but this is just bad.

Everything he has described is exactly what happened to Travis when he was being attacked. I think JM can use every bit of this testimony to the States advantage.

Yes. "Everything felt like slow motion" blah blah blah. But that doesn't mean our brain doesn't allow us to be aware of what is going on and have a memory of it during/after an "adrenaline crisis." Did the police officer get shot? If so, he was in shock, not having the issues JA claims to. JA wasn't injured in this, so it's completely irrelevant.

The worst moment of my life was when I had to resuscitate my daughter (she was 1 at the time) on the ground of a freeway in rush hour traffic because she choked on food I didn't realize she had stored in her cheeks. Everything was in slow motion and it felt like we were there for hours. But I remember every damn second of that event and actually needed therapy to stop obsessing about it. This guy is stating what he thinks as if it were fact, which is wrong!

Exactly! My son choked on a mozz stick at the Little League field, turned gray and looked at me as he was 'leaving me', thank God we Heimliched him and it worked after three tries.... I can't handle the detailed memory of that day and it was 15 years ago. Every. Single. Detail.

Heheheehehehhe. Survivor instincts..."like.." don't bend over if you drop the soap" ????

I hope JM puts up Travis's xray from the gunshot wound and asks what THAT would do to your brain??!!

Ok ... how much is this "expert" being paid for this stellar testimony?

If I was on the jury he would be insulting my intelligence.

What's messed up is that this guy is speaking of a legit condition, but Arias is just using it and him to cover up for her heinous, premeditated crime. She's great at playing the victim when she's not being grilled over and over again, I'm sure.

this guy is citing an article about a man who has a gun pulled on him?

jeez that sounds familiar, who is he talking about now?

witness = "I was getting physical therapy and was reading this article and thought this is perfect for what I need to convey during the trial"

TRANSLATION = "I was at the massage parlor reading the National Enquirer and found this crazy article and thought this is perfect to fool the jury during the trial. And I get paid for this......bwaaaaahhhh haaa haaaaa"

Recent research debunking the sex "Doc".

" In subjects with histories of alcoholism, unadjusted hippocampal volume was 9% smaller in persons with PTSD than in those without PTSD. In nonalcoholic subjects, the PTSD-related difference in hippocampal volume was 3%. The failure to observe a strong association between PTSD and hippocampal volume in nonalcoholic subjects was not ascribable to younger age, reduced PTSD chronicity, or lower PTSD symptom severity."

That's right, almost no correlation between reduced hippocampal and PTSD by itself. Drug abuse is the real cause of reduced hippocampal. Jodi is not a combat veteran with a history of alcohol abuse. Ergo, Sex "Doc" claims about the hippocampal do not apply to Jodi Arias.

To courtroom watchers ~ can anyone tell us whether jury members are watching for Juan's facial expressions or body language?
