Just heard Dr. Samuels say that when he first met her, JA had 'low self esteem' (hmm), was depressed and mentioned suicide.

And as a licensed therapist - he did WHAT exactly, about it?? Confer with a psychiatrist? Medication? Doesn't seem like he did or recommended anything. Nice.

OR - he knew she was malingering on this too... and that wouldn't help with the DT case, so, "eh! suicide? what suicide?"... (groan).

What do you think she was conjuring and don't you think that this is clearly showing that JA was blackmailing TA? Was she baiting him with the framed and taped phone sex session?

TA's text message to JA>

<<I don`t ever want to get another freaking text from you again or a call unless it`s an apology and a thank you for constantly having to take on your ever-ceasing problems. Not one freaking more.

I`m sick of your soap opera and your ways. You purposely try to ruin every day. It seems you`re getting good at it. You couldn`t get off your lazy butt, because that`s the sociopath I know so well, it freaking figures.

I want you to understand how evil I think you are. You are the worst thing that ever happened to me. It made me feel not good, I guess. It made me feel yucky.

You are a sociopath. You only cry for yourself. You have never cared about me and you have betrayed me worse than any example I could conjure. You are sick and you have scammed me.
=====

Do not call back,. I’m sick of you playing stupid and dealing with your childish issues. Bitter feelings are brewing in me for you, and if it keeps up I fear I will have a genuine dislike for you before I have a revenge.

You don't care about anything that doesn't involve you, and I'm sick of it, and I don't want to deal with any of it. It's wearing me out and if it continues, just like I have to give you motivation to tell me the truth I'll give you motivation to quit screwing with me.
======

After tomorrow it's going to be really bad for you. It's time to spit it out.
=====

I promise you the punishment will be better than the lie. >>
=====

Can somebody please answer something for me. After TA sent these msgs. to JA, WHAT happened that he allowed her to come visit him June 7th? Did he know she was coming to see him?

Haha thanks for reminding me about that show, I'm gonna watch some episodes.... who knows maybe I'll learn a thing or two that I can relate to this Mormon conspiracy. :floorlaugh:

BTW, the couple defendant supporters that have talked in the media have been convicted criminals, so it seems she attracts a certain kind. :lol:

Ya they go around slashing tires and peeking in windows, sound familiar?

At times, I get the feeling that Jodi would like nothing more than to be able to tell the world in excruciating detail every last thing about her planning and commission of the murder. She thinks she was clever and she wants everyone to understand and appreciate how capable she is of brutality and ruthlessness IMO

On the other hand, she knows that she holds all the power in that she is the only one who knows what really happened. And she knows the world is clamouring to know. And she ain't telling.

I've never seen it but from the commercials I can't tell if it is trying to be serious or tongue in cheek. Either way it's bound to be hilarious.

I've been thinking about Matt and I'm doubting he will testify to back her up. I'm thinking he's got to see by now how she's so publicly despised, that he wants no part of that, especially when it means committing perjury.

If Matt has half a brain he should also realize what a cold blooded killer she is and pray she is locked away forever. She may go after him and his wife.

Bet Darryl Brewer is shaking in his boots right now too.

A woman with low self esteem do not pose naked.

I'm skeptical about that $300 per day figure. Where I live, jurors get paid $15 per day. NOT $15 per hour. This case has 18 jurors, 6 of which are unlikely to serve. Can't believe Arizona is going to pay someone thousands of dollars just to send them home. Maybe they do pay more for extended trials, to make up for lost salary, but for Jodi's 18 days on the stand alone, we're talking $5400 per juror.
See post 1310.
I can't imagine they all receive that much. It would probably depend on the amount of their yearly salary. But even if a few did, it would add up pretty fast for this long of a trial.

the way it was explained is that for extended trials one may apply for lost pay up to $300 per day, but I believe you have to document your lost pay

Ah, so you can receive up to $300 to replace your lost salary -- looks like you have to prove that actually is your salary. But even if your salary is, say $12.50 per hour (close to $100/day) that's $1800 for all jurors per day. I'm stunned that Arizona actually pays that.

I believe that the employer has to pay some of that, have to reread the statute. Plus they have to fill out a form, which I have learned that when it comes to forms and the government it could take months for them to get paid.

Dissociation: Temporary drastic modification of one's personal identity or character to avoid emotional distress; separation or postponement of a feeling that normally would accompany a situation or thought.

Sure can see that in the interrogation with the headstands.

Really!!

Say, Elle, is the thing about Blood Atonement actually in the Book of Mormon? Or is it in one of the other volumes?

Anyone else watching NG (I know, I know) I just saw a banner saying "250 NEW crime scene photos" coming out??

Perhaps you can go back a couple of threads and read Morman Attorney's post on Associative Disorder, not Dissociation. Associative Disorder is on the Autism Spectrum. My post was respectful and appreciative of Morman Attorney's plight of trying to help those with Associative Disorder. Snarky comments unappreciated.

I agree. His death is the one part of him that she OWNS, singularly and completely. She'll never give that up. Plus, as a practical matter, any new revelations would upset her appeal efforts, should she get the DP.

Any ideas?
