This Dr. didn't even talk to the mother in a custody case--he just came out in favor of the
father, unfairly---so he could get free dental work done. That is highly unethical.

It doesn't matter a hill of beans to me either. I'm assuming that the testimony is obstensibly to show that Jodi is not lying about not remembering stabbing Travis but more subtly to create some kind of sympathy for her since the 'learned' doctor seems to have sympathy. They may also hope that showing that Jodi is 'traumatized' by the killing will point more towards self defense or at least a crime of passion rather than a premeditated murder by a sociopath.
