I think we're all going to lose our ever lovin minds before this trial is over. By yesterday a.m. I had had about enough. Turned the TV on in the kitchen and between yesterday and today, the kitchen walls are scrubbed, curtains washed and appliances, counters and cupboards are all polished. She has corroborating witnesses (who entered the bathroom at the time of the confrontation), and we don't know how much she had to drink - she may have lost her balance without being wholly impaired. She seems to have pretty good recall (and others, as I said who could back her story up - very significant imv).

Doesn't sound like there was any drinking going on in the scenario at Travis' house... or at the dinner in UT.

I don't see any reason to discredit her just because she consumed alcohol and lost her balance at one point in the evening... She's well ahead of JA - no 'fog' even after drinks.

Even if she was falling down drunk - call in the friends who rescued her from JA (shudder).

But you're right - everything she might say WOULD be called into question - probably SOP regarding alcohol, but I just don't think it would be successful. I could be wrong.

ETA: I wrote this before I learned that the confrontation happened the following day. My apologies! All the better for Clancy's credibility! Wish she could testify... on rebuttal, maybe?

I think it may be a credibility issue, actual or perceived. She's also a friend of Dave Hall's, they're all PPL and most likely all LDS in addition to the problem you mentioned. Honestly, I don't believe any of them any more than I believe Jodi. And, btw, the bathroom "confrontation" happened the day AFTER the actual incident and Jodi's testimony about sitting in the stall was about the night of the incident. So, even if you believe both of them, or only Clancy, her story doesn't directly contradict Jodi's testimony, imo

Actually isn't it a fact that not one of Travis' friends have said that they believed JA was capable of such an act of violence toward the man she supposedly was in love with?
Travis did not keep JA a secret at all, seems he told his friends he was 'trying to get away from the relationship' so obviously they all knew he was still with Her.. Travis was not a saint IMO; to me he was just a regular guy that fell in love with the wrong girl, simple stupid and she was his fatal attraction, sad.

Also, IMO Travis' friends have no reason to Lie about anything involving JA; they noticed JA was strange bird as We all have seen as well.. if anything the friends are now realizing What JA's confrontations were and a typical stalker she actually was; if they only had hindsight no?

I'm glad I don't have the time to watch this whole thing. I started out recording it but found the whole trial so far off track, that I stopped watching. The defense should have spent more time on the physical evidence and less time on Jodi's love life. I also think the media coverage of this is so bad. I have a feeling that a lot of media people will be let go after this, unfortunately they will probably let the wrongs ones go. Clancy was on the NG show tonight...Jodi took offense when Travis walked Clancy back to her seat, but it was the following day when Jodi confronted her. She felt threatened and was relieved when her friend came back into the rest room to see what was taking so long.

I can see Juan asking the DV lady all these questions and finishing with this could also be true if the victim were male, isn't that correct? It is so obvious when you consider the evidence that she is the one who was abusive. Maybe not physically but mentally. In the end, physically and mortally.

I always felt that when a female stays in a bedroom and sleeps with a male partner that sex between them is consensual. If you don't want it you say so.....not well I really didn't want to disappoint him. She wasn't too embarrassed to give him oral sex in the park after just meeting him.
