When I saw her tonight, what is going through my mind is JA and what she could have done with her life. This girl is in the courtroom, has goals and ambitions, and I admire her for that. In direct contrast, JA dropped out of high school to move in with a boyfriend, and has gone from man to man for a "meal ticket" until she murdered Travis and is now on trial for her life. What a huge waste ;) in comparison to this bright teenager we saw tonight on Dr. Drew.

MOO

It was interesting when Jodi watched Travis's ex Lisa testify. A nice young lady, the same age Jodi was when she met Travis. Lisa now is married, had a baby recently. She was the type of girl Travis was looking to marry. And there sat Jodi who wanted that life so badly but instead will spend every day from age 28 til she dies, behind bars.

I wouldn't wish that on Juan Martinez or Travis' family. They need justice. And I do not believe the Jury will disappoint us.

:)

Oh absolutely

She is not going to walk though. She admitted to murder, the jury just has to figure if it was premeditated or self defense. She can get 2nd degree if she intended to kill him also. She's fighting not to die even though she said she wanted to fry.

I have had migraines for 30 years and have been given by my docs every "miracle" med that came out on the market. Nothing worked AT ALL. :(

Ya know what works best? Lavender essential oil on a WARM, not cold cloth, over my eyes; dark, cool room; deep even breathing to slow my heart rate.

Other than eating hydrocodone for the pain and developing a nasty opiate addiction, it's what has worked for me better than any "migraine" meds.

Sorry for the OT.

O/T - have you tried Maxalt? I have tried everything under the sun and this is the only thing that comes close to making them go away. Sorry for your suffering. They are brutal! There is no way in HELLO JA had a true Migraine if she was sitting in court. Aspirin, Advil and Motrin do not work on real migraines, she is lying.

I'm not sure, but I believe that in order to properly run the latest test, you must pay a license fee to have access to the current versions. Just like using legitimately licensed software apps instead of illegally copied and "cracked" versions in your business.

I pay an arm and a leg for my software licenses, yet many businesses profit by using illegal reproductions of the same software. Ugh!

So perhaps he should introduce himself as:

Good point!
IMO not so far fetched for what we now know of JA's defense being ALL sex related including her grinning at every thought of reliving every moment of sex.. Remember how Flores was so calm and nice to JA? she Really believed she could talk her way out of this murder!
I also believe JA knew she was being watched or recorded in that interrogation room.. one other thing about the handstand; I read somewhere that you can break your neck that way.. would totally like to see the entire video tape since they are releasing it in sections; can't tell if handstand was Before or After her being hancuffed.. anyone know? TIA

There are actually two distinct things happening in that video. One is her knowing she's being watched and anticipating how to deflect questions from this male interrogator. The other is the extreme gravitas of the situation and how radically lost it is on her.

On the pro-Jodi site, they have an 'interesting' theory about those back stab wounds. Some pf her supporters say that he was laying on top of her and she was stabbing him in the back to try and get free.

I am trying hard to 'make that work' but it just doesn't. If he was on top of her then why wouldn't he be controlling her arms. And how could she continue to stab him in the back from such a 'weak' position? It is hard to imagine that she could stick in the knife, pull it free and do so over and over, while he is on top of her. Why wouldnt he prevent her from using her arms if his body was on top of hers already?

I have been beneath a person larger than me, while they were choking me...I would have needed arms TWICE + longer to achieve those kinds of wounds. Didn't happen.

I hate them for even suggesting it could have. :furious:

Impossible unless she has the reach of an orangutan. Leave it to them though- sharp as marbles. :notgood:

ITA impossible!
I can't go read the JA supporter site again, once was enough when in search of MM posts; however, I am interested in what lame excuse they came up with for the defensive knife stab wounds on his hands/arms?? :notgood:

Sure, it wouldn't be ideal but justice later is better than no justice at all (captain obvious here :seeya:)

Good night folks. I know it is early but I am emotionally exhausted in more ways than one.,
Looking forward to tomorrow.

Yes, thank you! I didn't realize that until after I wrote my post. I was going to go back and edit, but I figured it would be more efficient (and faster) to get called on my error so I could reply and agree.

So much for calling her credibility into question! :) Not to mention having about 30 corroborating witnesses for the event at Travis' house.

(Guess I should correct my post anyway. Doing that now).

Thanks again! :)

At this time murder 1 is the only thing on the table. She walks if jury buys self defense - justifiable homicide in AZ.

I didn't want to believe this but it has been verified by our verified attnys.

Of course not. HLN and I made a promise to each other to never write down anything negative.

So you're HLN's dirty little secret?

Well, that's fine with me. You have a right to your opinion, but if you're from St. Catharines, you know the missteps that happened in the PB/KH case. It's comparing apples to oranges. If everything went as it should, Karla would be serving a life sentence (at least 25 years). The only difference between Canada and the U.S. is the death penalty. Canada doesn't have that, but other than that, the systems are very similar.

Okay...not sure what your purpose is for calling me out on my posts??? We get it...you think the two cases are like comparing apples to oranges. Go back to my OP ... I only responded to say that we are more lenient in Canada with our criminals (hence giving out sweet deals) than in the States. IMO our countries do have differences in how we treat criminals.

Can we be done now? This has a been a great place to visit and present opinions...not to be criticized for them or taking apart each and every thing a person says. :hand:

She'd have to have arms like Kareem Abdul-Jabar. Seriously.

I am 5'11" with some long monkey arms and I doubt I could inflict that kind of damage on a reach around. Um. No. Just no.

MOO.

OMG the things people will admit on the internet. Remember though she must have monkey arms to reach the gun that was way above her head.

This one! :rocker:

I wish I could remember the name of the book...just remember that it had a picture on the cover of she and Paul on their wedding day. I do remember, however, that of all the books I read back then (I really loved Ann Rule's books the best!) it was one where the crimes were so horrific that I would actually have to put the book down and walk away...
