Someone just told NG that JA was given an asprin today for her migraine. Trust me, as a former migraine suffer (none after my divorce, thank you), asprins don't take away the pain! You can't even stand light or motion. JA lies again!

Nope! have to disagree again. I do get light/noise sensitive migraines and Excedrin- which is aspirin and has caffeine works for me, but only if I take it within 20 min., otherwise I get nausea and vomiting.

I only saw on HLN photos from that day (just prior to murder) where they were each individually "posing" for each other? Were there actual pictures of them engaged in sexual activity?

Not that have been presented in court. Arias claims to Samuels some were taken during intercourse, but the pics don't bear that out.
She also claimed they made a video on HER camera that day of them having sex, but that has not been presented either - so whatever is not presented, may not exist. Except in the demented mind of the murderess.

The statement that “JA was attacked at knifepoint at age of 13” should never have been allowed into evidence. It was pure hearsay. In fact the assertion was DOUBLE HEARSAY. There was NO foundation for that statement and that fact was NEVER mentioned on direct testimony. An expert should not be permitted to say “ I have read where somebody ie JA brother said that. . . “ and then add that statement to bolster the “expert testimony”

As an observer, I LOVE the fact that the jurors are able to question. I've heard it debated, though, and it seems to be a nightmare for the attorneys on BOTH sides, since they have no control over the questions.

They have some control over the questions since any which would raise a legal objection will be tossed. I personally like it, some of the ones asked of ja were very succinct and clarified issues that might have been a little muddy.

I haven't followed this trial as closely as most of you due to time constraints, but I am waiting with baited breath for JM Closing Argument, and am hoping he addresses this question of mine early on...

Where is the proof that Travis EVER actually engaged in any form of actual intercourse (vaginal/oral/anal) with Jodi???? (or anyone else for that matter?)

I have seen (heard) substantiated evidence that he DID engage in "fantasy phone sex/texting" and did allow himself to be photographed in the nude, but where has anyone testified of knowledge that their relationship had actually been consummated? Did he ever discuss with close friends, etc?

95% of Jodi's statements have been PROVEN to be lies, so why the sudden jump to believe she is telling the truth about their sexual relationship??!! Didn't she even admit during cross that some of her stories didn't really happen, but were instead just "fantasy"? (re: the Travis pulling up in driveway, her coming outside to perform oral sex and then her retreating back to house and he drove away)

I am just having a real hard time believing this young man, who was apparently very strong in his convictions of a Mormon lifestyle, responsible, etc would lead a double life as a "sexual deviant" or think Jodi was his "dirty little secret no one would every know about?

Is it possible that Travis justified in his mind that he was still following the guidelines for sexual activity if he didn't cross that line? Are the acts of "sexual talk" and nude photography forbidden as well, or could these acts be justified in your mind as staying within a fine line?

Since it hasn't been proven to me that a sexual interaction relationship actually occurred, and if I apply the credibility of Jodi's statements regarding everything else, the whole sexual control/abuse/aspect flies right out the window!

I think it is possible that Jodi was attempting to manipulate Travis INTO a sexual relationship from the beginning (thinking once he crossed that threshold for the first time, he would be hers forever) and all future actions (manipulations, recordings, photos) by Jodi were out of frustration that her sexual appetite was not working with THIS relationship.

The last trip out to AZ was (in her opinion) a last ditch effort and when he again refused her advances, and perhaps left the room to shower, she realized she lost for good, and snapped? Travis, obviously, had moved on and was excited by his new relationship.

The character assignation of this young man by Jodi and her defense team has been disgusting to follow and I hope JM will take his opportunity in closing arguments to drive home the young man Travis was!

If you listen to the entire 1 hour 10 minute phone conversation between JA and TA that was played in court Day 17 of the trial it is impossible to avoid the conclusion they did have a sexual relationship and he was a willing participant.

In his own words:
- "You cannot say I don't work that booty."
- "We've had 2 and 3 hour sessions many times." Goes on to say their longest session was 3 1/2 hours.
- Reacted to her saying he woke her her up by removing her panties and giving her oral sex by acknowledging it. He commented, "Ya you got to admit though there's not many guys who do that just for fun."
- "There've been many times that you've been like miserable and I've like..Raped you."

As far as JM addressing it in closing arguments, he already addressed in it opening arguments, saying that at 1:32 on June 4, 2008, Travis was alive and he and Jodi Arias were "going at it, they were sinning."

He was in no way a sexual deviant but a normal, red-blooded young man.

And I'm not sure he was excited by a new relationship when Mimi already told him she didn't want anything serious with him. They agreed to go to Cancun as just friends. He was still looking for the right woman to marry.

Juan had objected "beyond the scope" before, and I think the doc just said it too quick for him to object this time. Plus, scope" seems fairly loose in this trial.

I have to bite my tongue because she is the maid of honor. And she HATES Juan and thinks he is very rude and she thinks Jodi was a victim of physical abuse but was too scared to tell anyone. :shutup:
