TartLemon, The jurors have her number. She was a sarcastic smartass on tbe stand, then tried to tamper with a witness. I wonder if the judge and jurors saw her stare dowm the family of Travis and then smirk at them? Katiecoolady migjt have the answer to that.

Hey Angel, she had a late start watching...but she watches everyday now. I have made her watch things like both interrogations w/Det. Flores, Dr. Horn's testimony and I have showed her all the crime scene photos.
Yes, she knows JA admitted to the murder and that she changed her story many times.
Like I said she just cannot see how JA could drag Travis down that hall, and she just can't understand how it could have happened that way (whatever that means :banghead:)
She feels like TA "used" JA....so that does not make him a good person. Her and I have had huge arguments over this....because I told her SO WHAT?! He deserved to be slaughtered because he liked the sex that was thrown at him?! He was never going to marry her. If she had any self respect she would have left his a$$
She does not believe in the self-abuse claims. She dislikes JM's style in the courtroom....she thinks he hollers and that he is a bully
I don't know what this woman is thinking....she really has a huge problem with locking an innocent person up....not to mention to sentence one to death.

I have told her JA IS NOT innocent.....she is a monster! I get so frustrated with her....we argue constantly over this!
She also thinks JA should have went with an insanity defense. I tell her....mother she is NOT insane :furious: Lol, I given up with her at this point.

Lol, your mom and my DH must have had a chat!

DH feels the same way about JM and also about TA.

He thinks JA is guilty as sin, and a total slow-reacting lizard queen (makes me laugh), but he can't stand JM and thinks he is gonna turn off some of the jurors. IDK, I'm on the fence about him myself. I don't get the swooning, lol.

THANK YOU so much for these! Reading these made my day!
Sooooo funny! :floorlaugh:

:floorlaugh:

"Then he turned into a crazed snippy Sally, gesturing violently at Martinez as he questioned the validity of his research. “You’re misinterpreting my findings,” he yelled as he completely disappeared into the dense foggy mist, along with any shred of his credibility. “It’s post traumatic stress, God damn you! Hippocampus!Hiiiiiiipooocaaaampuuuussss!”

o/t ?

I have posted you tube vids before and the video was shown in the post. How did I do that before? All I could get on the last one was the link to show up. I tried both the "inset image" and "insert link" tabs and neither posted the video in the post, only the link to it.

I'm on the 'Jodi is guilty' train. She should never see the light of day outside prison walls. IMO, this is a learning curve for a very dangerous woman. She WILL kill again if released.

JM obviously doesn't take juries for granted and is doing a very thorough job of making his point. All it takes is ONE juror to think 'Hmmm...MAYBE....' This case is not in the guilty bag by any means. I can only hope they see what I see.

Looking at the last headshot of Travis in the shower. I'm convinced that the killer had pulled out her weapons at that point. He looks like he's afraid for his life. I used to have a shower just like Travis' and is no way that even I (a petite woman) would voluntarily sit down there. It would be claustrophobic and just plain uncomfortable.

Travis would have never sat down in there (to relax or whatever) especially with JA (a woman he was increasingly weary of) around. He was forced at gunpoint. I think JA used the gun to threaten Travis. Simply showing him the knife wouldn't do. Had that been the case Travis would have opened the shower door himself and tried to wrestle the knife out of her hands. He would have had the upper hand.

I think the killer brought the gun in order to corner Travis and also as a back up in case the knife thing didn't finish him off. So Travis was forced to sit down. I think she stabbed him when he was in that most vulnerable of positions. I don't agree that she first stabbed him when he came out of the shower towelling himself. Why would she have asked him to sit if she did not want to attack him at that point? I don't know what exactly went off after that but I'm convinced she started stabbing him while he was sitting down in the shower.

I've never seen anyone more evil than she is. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever and I don't care if that makes me less 'good'. My heart overflows with love and compassion for Travis and family and I won't rest till the killer is convicted of first-degree murder.

My boyfriend and I have actually gotten to the point of not speaking over him saying the same thing about JM...

On the ID channel Stalked Show, the Psychologist who narrates the show says "The one way to escalate a stalker to violent status (paraphrase) is get word their victim of obsession is dating someone."

Travis situation with Jodi would be on that show. She said 3 million are stalked every year including herself. Even though not all end in death but some do. (Travis)

Scarey. The laws and law enforcement do not do enough at the early point to help victims to stop them in some states. California have the strongest laws for stalking because of celebrities. The rest of the 49 have varied pathetic versions.

I was stalked before any laws were around in fact before the word "stalked" were in use (1973). Nothing were available to me for help other than move.
It was just a horrible feeling to know that another human being could invade you life and nothing can be done except "move".

I attempted to handle it not knowing anything about stalking, the way they are and in the end he attacked me/raping me. (1973)

Stalking is so serious as serious as abuse. After my experience, I consider stalking a form of abuse. I felt abused, invaded, controlled, isolated, and down right pissed off. If that made sense.

Thank you for let me share my story.
I admire your courage and strength, carnnell. I liken stalking to psychological torture. For me its the only accurate descriptor. You're walking on eggshells and always looking over your shoulder, just waiting for what will happen next, being afraid to go anywhere or do anything. It's the ultimate form of control - causing someone such fear that they inhibit themselves.

In some ways it can be worse than living in the abuse itself. As horrible as it may sound, abuse is something you become used to. It's a known. You just kind of learn to live in fear. Stalking is very uncertain and unpredictable though. It casts doubt on one's every movement. And instead of living with a fear you've become adapted to, you're instead living in terror.

MOO

(My  to you too, paperwing. I applaud you both for your bravery in sharing your stories. I know its not easy so thank you so much!) Oh! And I still moved anyway! Psychopaths are absolutely relentless in their pursuit of abuse and when they can't do it themselves, they will often turn friends and family into abusers by proxy. They also never give up their targets willingly (unless they find a new victim). Not ime.

TartLemon...it's the same thing in every trial. All is takes is one juror to get a hung jury but most of the time juries do get it right. I'm convinced that due to the overwhelming evidence in this case that this jury will convict JA of first-degree murder. The only real discussion they might have is whether to sentence her to life in prison or death.

This person, JA, is one of the most cold cruel people that I have ever seen. I'd sure like to see a PET scan of her brain. I don't ever buy the story that many murders tell, "Its my parents fault". I believe some people are born that way.

Juan Martinez has a very successful record. He has won many death penalty cases. He's very aware of what jurors like and don't like. He has had decades to learn and tweak his style. Judging by his record jurors dig him!

Right you are. Every single criminal has an excuse for what he/she has done. All I can say is *YAWN!*

LWOP IMO. Appeals would be paid for by Jodi. No more TV cameras or highly publicized 'field trips' to court. Soon her prison popularity will wane when her cameras leave and another case takes the headlines.

The DP would be too easy for Jodi. She would have obligated State Appeals, putting her back on the public stage that she craves.

I'd like to see someone re-enact that theory where a muscled man is seated in a shower with his arms up on his knees, blocking access to the heart, and a woman Jodi's size going in for the kill with a knife and not getting disarmed immediately. Impossible. IMHO.

I would love to see all theories re-enacted and timed. With a wet barefoot male of Travis' size, a clothed lady of Jodi's size, and the closet reproduced accurately with a prop gun placed 9 feet up and about 8 - 10" deep on a resting shelf rated for 40 lbs. And a stopwatch.

To Getreal :Someone here at websleuths hypothesized that Jodi used the waterproof suntan spray she purchased en route to spray in his eyes first. That gave me pause. Not sure if at autopsy that would have been apparent if it didn't do much damage other than blind him at the moment, kwim?

I like him. What the THs are describing as dull and droning is, IMO, necessary to cover every single detail of Jodi's crime.

Might not make exciting tv, but makes very effective prosecution.

I think we'll all start sleeping better knowing that. She hasn't stopped killing Travis to this day, and she causes his family great sorrow everyday.

(hard to sleep tonight, but I'm going to try again)

one lie, two lies, three lies,...
:countsheep:

What makes this crime most heinous to me is that Arias not only shot and stabbed Travis but stayed around to WATCH HIM DIE !!! Anyone acting in self-defense would have fled the scene in horror ...

I can't even imagine the sorrow in Travis' heart before death knowing that the last face he saw on Earth was that of a monster ....

Hate does the heart no good, but I'm willing to take a hit as I really hate this 🤬🤬🤬 ...

Good lord what a weirdo. Absolute weirdo.

Was that how JA was "posed" when the detective walked in? There was a male voice heard outside the door and she suddenly moved to the wall, I think she was hoping to look "sexy" for him.

Maybe Samuels is right: if JA were assertive/aggressive, she would have sold PPL to every man she could meet and be so stinkin' rich, she'd pay somebody else to do her stint on death row. :twocents:

BBM=by me.

Rose I absolutely agree with you. That one picture does show that he was scared and looks as though he may have had tears starting. My heart just breaks for him-I don't believe for one second how the DT is protraying TA. I believe TA was a good hearted person that was truly blinded by JA and when he realized how she truly was/is....it was too late. Justice will be served-I'm a firm believer. I'm very passionate about this case. I haven't said anything but my daughter's brother was murdered back in 2011 and they are having his trial this week and next week. When he was killed......he was absolutely defenseless..........he was asleep!!!!!!

Has anybody watched that YouTube of DV expert LaViolette talking about Snow White being a DV victim? I found I couldn't sit through it and I can't really explain why. She's not arrogant and condescending like some other witness we've seen (today). She can be quite funny. But I found myself fast-forwarding trying to hear something interesting. IDK. I was hoping others had some thoughts.

That is interesting about LaViolette and Snow White. Check out the pic on Ebay
