Dear Mom:

If they ask you to testify, I just want you to know I'm really sorry and didn't mean to kick you. I was trying to kick the dog and missed.

And I'd rather you didn't mention that little incident when I was 9, ok?

Love,
Jodi.

Dear Jodi:

Did I mention I wish you were adopted so I could send you back?

Love,
Mom

If I had ever kicked my mother as a teenager, I wouldn't be here to tell you about it!

Butchering people always makes me feel stressed. Then when I get busted and incarcerated it pisses me off.

And they also have to wonder why the DT is wanting all this stuff left out. It looks like they are trying to cover up and hide things.

I think that!

Kelly

it looks really bad for the defense having all these side bars. it must be clear to the jury that the duh-fense is trying to coverup and keep things out of this trial. cause they are sceered

Jodi wasn't use to sleeping around all those females. Maybe if she had a cell in the male part of the jail she could have slept much better.

Does anyone know if the word that she had a girlfriend in jail is true? A lover, not just a bff.

I think Jodi's taking the test again. :waitasec:

:boohoo: Well, duh she had trouble sleeping in jail. A guilty conscience will do that to a person..... :gavel:

I don't think Jodi has a conscience. I don't think she regrets killing Travis at all. She only regrets getting caught and that the killing didn't go as planned.

I bet if doc tested even of us right now we would have signs of PTSD just from listening to him and the defense. I know I now have PTSD

This new little tidbit about Jodi hitting, kicking, and screaming at her mother goes a long way in explaining why her family wasn't surprised she'd be involved in TAs murder.

I can't imagine a "normal" child ever trying something like that with a parent. Most children have a healthy sense of fear and enough respect to know better.

I'm sure there's a lot more to the family dynamic we may never know.

When was this? How old was she??

I just want this guy off the stand. But I have to say the more he talks the more he reveals that he is not someone I would want counseling me :)

JA writing and flipping through all those pages in court is like one of us pretending to be on a cell phone call to avoid someone/something. I've never done that, just saying...:blushing:

Jodi is pissed:great: Wonder who she's writing that note to?

How much concentration does it take to produce her artwork?

I hope Dr. Demarte interviewed Jodi's family and others, especially about her anger/violence issues.

It really can be a horribly painful experience to read the accounts of parents of psychopathic children. Sure, there are some parents who really don't give a damn but there are also those who do everything right, who try every treatment imaginable, set every limitation, and love their child to bits only to have that child abuse and mistreat them over and over again, psychologically, physically, emotionally and financially.

The family is very often the first victims, and learning curve, of psychopaths.

Thank you for pointing this out. I work with many families like this.

I don't think that. I don't begrudge Jodi's mom the support of her daughter (much like I didn't Cindy and George for loving and supporting Casey). She can still love and support Jodi but still believe that she needs to take responsibility for her actions and crime.

It's when you step over the line like Cindy and George did that I have issues with parental involvement in Court cases.

I couldn't agree more.

I suspect that Jodi did exactly what she wanted when she wanted it. Or there was heck to pay. Juan is establishing that she has a violent nature when things don't go her way. Love the part 'no reason at all' for kicking her mother. Maybe Travis did nothing at all that day.
