Well, she's created her own abuse continuum redefining a spectrum of sorts for abusive relationships and authored a paper on male abuse victims, essentially stating, females aren't prone to battering as often as men and really, professionals shouldn't become ensued in a gender war anyway... so I'm thinking, no?

I guess all I can hope for is that she isn't as "fond" of JA as Samuels was.

The woman has not even said ONE word about that. She is running through her credentials -albeit short and not very impressive-. I understand the frustration folks, but these sort of comments (not yours rose) are beyond low. Shameful.

I'm taking offense at trashing this woman because she's gay. So what? Stating that she hates men like its a fact is ridiculous.

I agree that the gay comments are distasteful and need to stop.

Some of her testimony so far has sounded like she is somewhat biased against men -- at least in the domestic violence context, and that has nothing at all to do with her sexual orientation or the way she appears.

(edited to clarify my comment so that it cannot be interpreted in any way to condone the gay comments)

Sounds like this woman has really done some good for truly battered women.

Maybe she can recognize a real battered woman vs. Jodi. Maybe she will tell the truth on the stand. Perhaps she has some moral character.

I know it drives me absolutely insane. Just give your credentials. How long you have been in field. Done. This woman is talking about her freaking homework.

Once again they scraped the bottom of the barrel for an expert.
For THIS case and it's severity involving the brutal death of one and the possible death of another, I would think a real expert with real credentials and a long time in the field would be on the stand.

This lady and her work shops... :facepalm: Yeah this is going to be great.
