I think anything that makes fun of people that has nothing to do with their character, etc. is just low and petty. Like Jodi's body parts, her appearance, Samuels' appearance, Nurmi's appearance, etc.

It's just mean spirited. I have brought this up before.

I agree. If Nurmi were the prosecutor who would care how he looks? If Jodi were the victim, would anybody make snide remarks about her body parts?

It is Jodi's actions that are the issue. She stalked and brutally murdered a young man. Isn't that enough? Do we need to say, in effect, that "she is a murderer AND she does not look good naked?" Can't we stop that sentence before the conjunction and be satisfied?

Haven't had time to read today, but the little i heard leads me to ask...was today as brutal as it sounded? Did anything surprising come out of today's testimony?
Thanks!

LOL...I'd say about 60% of the time has been at sidebars called by the DA so that they could discuss the law in their effort to figure out where JM is going with his questioning. And the judge who is (apparently) on her first DP case ever is using the sidebar for her own education as well. The sidebars are pathetic and non conducive to a fair trial. The State gets no "appeal".

Booohhh. Like a downward turn of the thumb.

This judge is avoiding appeals but it would be great if she would spend a bit of energy on "fairness" for both sides.'

Re BBM

YES. I mentioned the same earlier. This is exactly what the judge is doing. She has no confidence in herself so she welcomes and even calls for her own sidebars to hear both sides to help her make her decision. A good judge could make a lot of those calls on the fly without sidebars.

Okay .... not sure if I wanna go there, but I did not realize that autopsy photos were available to the public (link?)

I will be so glad when this PTSD/Domestic Abuse stuff is over, because then we can get on to what this travesty is really all about. Premeditated 1st Degree Murder ... Death Penalty. That is what Juan needs to prove (and he will). Please let's get on to the rebuttal case. This jury is done. They are ready to deliberate. I really feel for them.

Anyway ... about those autopsy photos. Thanks ElleElle:seeya:

:BE WARNED:

I didn't watch all of this trial, but everytime I see the blood spatter in the sink, I wonder if TA didn't get out of the shower and go to the sink to maybe brush his teeth or whatever, and was attacked from behind with the knife and he exasperated and weak and could no longer defend himself - He might have turned around and threw up his arms in an attempt but fell to his knees...Man, we have to get justice for Travis !!!

Am I the only one that thinks this woman will claim that she does not want compensation for her testimony as a defense expert testimony?

Watch!

ETA - Corrected my spelling of "defense" thanks to the careful editing skills of a fellow WebSleuther.

Im soooooooooooo SICK of this prosecuter and this whole case actually ..This guy is gonna have a retirement home right beside the Casey Anthony prosecuters house when this is over . There's no dought she did it but it's the prosecuter's blowing all these cases . The defense isn't winning it for her thier just staying quiet and letting this moron rammble on forever and ever im tellin ya right now he's blowen this case . There will be fist fight's in the dam jury room. This trial and prosecuter is a JOKE....

I have worked for guys like Martinez and let me tell you they are not easy to get along with, but they get the job done. He has his style and you have to respect it. He has sentenced one women to death row for killing her husband. So even though he's loud and animated as long as he can prove his case beyond a reasonable doubt, we won't hear the name Jodi Arias anymore.

Ok just watched nancy grace on the DVR and saw new Jodi interrogation video. And again I'm floored. By the dog kicking story. Anyone else think she killed the dog? That was the first thing that ran through my mind after se said she never saw the dog again.

Yup. And the diaper story about why she kicked the dog is another lie! That story never happened IMO. She got rid of a dog Jodi fashion.

Just google "Travis Alexander autopsy photos". Real easy to find.

Note, they are apparently very, very horrific. DR. Drew's show Dr. Drew After Dark has a link to them because he strongly feels everyone needs to see them. It really changed his mind about the case.

I have not seen those or most of the crime scene photos. There are some showing his severely bloated and decomposing body stuffed in the shower. I am very imaginative and did not need to actually see what this person did to Travis in order to become horrified, outraged and to view her as a monster. She is evil.

But i just wanted to warn you because some people are like me and cannot handle such things and the photos are apparently horribly graphic and so, so sad to see.

He's passionate. So he sometimes raises his voice and actually "gets involved". Even that is no longer acceptable. He now has to put up with the DA asking the judge to intervene. Shame on the DA that they can't muster enough conviction for their client that they would inadvertently raise their voice while questioning a witness. They smirk and roll their eyes instead. Whisper away.

Oh, BTW, I got to see no more than five minutes of testimony. Would anyone like to give m,e some highlights from today? What was the best moments? The worst? Did the new expert really get into testify8ing? All I saw was that Wilmott was establishing her expertise. Did she give any opinion?

You really don't have to go and look. It's been described verbally. She literally slashed him from ear to ear until she she hit his spinal cord at the back of his neck. That's a very wide and deep wound. Not for the feint of heart.

Nope... if you can't take it; don't go there.

I view the pics to build my theories based on the injuries.

I think you could be correct. I hope Juan doesnt even ask her about it. He somehow knew the Dr. was paid so he brought it up. Unless he knows for sure she is paid, he probably wont ask about it.

I am not too worried about what she says because if its based on Jodis statements only, hopefully the jury has made up their mind she is lying about everything. But I am upset with her or any defense witness that can knowingly go into this trial based only on what Jodi said. After listening to Jodi on the stand, the lies were jumping out of her and it was painfully obvious.

I would love to ask these witnesses off the record if they truly believe what they are testifying to.
