I was reading the other day that they will not like to use chemical testing on ammunition because it is a flawed practice. It also takes a long time, and Jodi had only been in custody, what, a few hours?

It was a bluff.

I think Det. Flores was only saying the brand of the ammo was the same as the casing in Travis' bathroom. I didn't get the idea he was saying it had gone thru forensic testing. But, I do believe he was being truthful about this particular issue because if he bluffed her at this point, and she knew for a fact he was bluffing, he would have no chance of getting the truth out of her in the future. She would just continue to treat him like a mushroom (keep him in the dark and feed him bull$h!t.)

I think that sort of mean, pointless and childish crap has no place here. We are supposedly above that.

Agreed. I didn't participate, or laugh. I also don't think it's cool to make fun of Nurmi's weight or Wilmotts hair/clothing.

As NG also pointed out, she plugged her book today. I just heard it twive in about less than a minute.

I don't care what color/gender/species you are. If you are testifying for someone after you have seen the photos, video, and testimony that show her guilt, then you are guilty of selling out for your own profit/gain.

BBM I did not think it was funny and I would bet alot of WS members did not think it was funny to make fun of Dr. Samuels. Maybe not so much hypocrisy here as you might think.

I think anything that makes fun of people that has nothing to do with their character, etc. is just low and petty. Like Jodi's body parts, her appearance, Samuels' appearance, Nurmi's appearance, etc.

It's just mean spirited. I have brought this up before.

I don't think he was going by chemical testing, more like comparing the brands.

There have been many things that have not come out during the state's case that boggles the mind. From the tire slashing as witnessed by Linda to that former prosecution witness who told the story about how Jodi confronted her in the bathroom.

Yes and it was shaking and traumatized by the experience. Probably starved, dehydrated, terrified. Having spent years volunteering at shelters and fostering abandoned and abused cats , I have seen things that have brought me to my knees. I have a real problem with this. People who abuse animals are sadists., end of story. I am "speculating" that there is so much more we have not heard about her violence and disregard for all beings imo

Not only wasn't it funny, but the Mods posted to stop making up nicknames for people although nobody actually stopped.

Taking issue with his testimony or his credibility is one thing. Calling him fat, ugly, greasy, etc. is just nasty.

Her story to Flores was that she owned a feral cat. She was just trying to get him off the subject, as she does throughout her entire interview.

the other cat story came from her co-worker he told about Jodi taking care of someones cat for 2 weeks. By taking care, she meant Jodi admitted to leaving it in a room with a bit of food and water and ignoring it until 2 weeks later.

That's possible, but I don't see how it would help the prosecution that much since the same brand is probably sold at a lot of places. In any case, it was probably still just a bluff since how could the tell what brand an empty shell is? I again think this is something that would have come out during the forensics-centric CIC.

The tire slashing hasn't come in because it wasn't proven who did it. The story about her in the bathroom may have been torn apart because the woman was drunk and may also be prejudicial. There's no telling but I don't think it's needed.

No, and I deleted my post that said that, I was "quoting" from the post I quoted and apologize for that. I've never even heard that used before
