She must have loved Travis so much she didn't want to go to the doctor and have it taken care of, for fear she would have to reveal that he had kicked her, he may get arrested and charged with DV, and so she would rather suffer in silence...with her painful, bent finger.

No I don't think that Jodi would write something like that in a jailhouse journal. I was just wondering what she did to have them search her cell and take her journal (after all this time in jail to now take her journal). Wondering if whatever it was was an aggressive act. I knew she wore the zap belt, but didn't hear about the shackels till the other day. Then yesterday the court deputy sayed real close to her each time it was time for her to go back to the holding cell.

It was everything they have already revealed. They said if the state did not accept the plea they would drag Travis through the mud.

The state's response "See you in court and we are going to be asking for death.'

Another sex tape isn't going to help them. Imo, the jury is way over the sex part and wants this case to move along.

Here's my take on something that stood out for me at the end of JW's rebuttal today...AVL said she rejected cases that "didn't have enough evidence/information", "didn't believe the person” (check all for JA), yet she DID take JA, and she apologized to JA for "invading" her privacy" , which included finding documentation of JA being a controlling stalker, blackmailer, liar and a sex life with TA that she hole-heartedly enjoyed. Yet she dismisses this under cross from JM because she's not an "expert" in those areas and she's only there to discuss DV! I mean..give me a f'g break! Can't wait for the Juror's questions - even when they're responded to by "It's not a yes or no question".

When JA was leaving court yesterday evening a few poster got some screen shots. You could see the bulge clearly around her waist which was being said it was a stun belt.

I have never heard of one. Does it mean LE can press a button on a remote control and stun her?

She used to have one around her thigh,they've just changed it to one around her waist

I suppose everything that is in their cell is subject to being seized but I think they have a good reason why it was seized on April 1, 2013. Nurmi sure wants to see a copy of it.

This has been one of the most stunning parts of her "expert" testimony. I am honestly astounded that ALV admits she only talked to Jodi, and then the rest was just reading! What professional would think that is balanced and a thorough review? I truly do not get it. She stated she goes into every new case with some skepticism about whether they're being told the truth. Well, hello! It's how one handles that, that shows professionalism. What did ALV do? Just went "ppppffffttttt, good enough for me!"

I 100% agree, Willmott is pandering to JA and letting her call objections, last time I checked JA did not take the bar, let alone is a "attorney". Willmott does not know how to be an attorney, so she is definitely trying to play catch up and fingers crossed, she hopes to score at least one goal against JM. She thinks the jurors are fools is the worst part, and acts like this is NOT a murder case with a victim named Travis Alexander. The U.K. term I am gobsmacked. : )

On the other hand it's a good thing.

IMO this is the injury she had- an extensor tendon injury. See figure #3.

ITA with you 100%. It will backfire. The jury has already heard the previous tape- there isn't anything else that they could get out of it.

The DT is just so ridiculous thinking that if you repeat something 100 times, someone will eventually believe it. :notgood:

I think that was misrepresented in court today. ALV said yesterday that JA was excited to take the test because she thought she was a bright as Einstein.
And BTW, the court minutes tell a totally different story. They show that she refused the test on two separate dates. :banghead:

What was really odd to me is she didn't interview JAs parents or siblings face to face. Was she afraid of the answers she would get about the pathological liar that she so zealously defends?

Honestly I am baffled that in my country I can be brutally murdered in my own home and then have my most intimate moments, that I did NOT know was being recorded, be played for not only a court room full of my family and friends but on a live feed that is being seen/heard around the world.

The reason I have a problem with it is becuase it was played only due to things that came out of Jodi's mouth. There was not honest to god evidence that would make the playing of that tape OK. There just isn't. It's despicable.

Travis absolutely needs to be humanized besides his death photos and photos of him with his killer. That can happen in much better ways like playing video he knew was being recorded. Travis doing his job, Travis out having fun with friends. That is Okay but unless there is A WHOLE TON of evidence that would make the playing of that tape necessary it shouldn't be, especially with the feed running.

I am very sad that this is happening in my country.

If I am not mistaken, didnt ALV even go so far to say the tape was consensual today, implying that Travis knew he was being recorded and making the tape together with Jodi.

I was begging for Juan to protest this when it happened. ALV slid it in real quick and it was sneaky and a total lie.
