I saw that also! And JA nodded her head yes, I hope the jury caught that but it may have gotten lost in the quick objection.
Hope not...IIRC, Juan said...well you already told her. lol

She could've gone to the ER, or doctors office and lied about what happened, just to get it fixed or attended to. Only a guilty as sin person would not have done that = JA.

Yes. and which she would have done if it had really happened as a result of being kicked. Any fool can make up a story if they want to protect their abuser. She acted like she would've been polygraphed in the ER or something. It makes no sense.

What makes sense is it happened June 4, and she didn't go seek medical attention because she'd just murdered someone and knew it would implicate her.

Come on.

I do not believe Jodi's IQ is even on the high end of average. I don't find her even remotely intelligent. View attachment 31840

I agree. I think she is the idiot savant of cunning but that's all. She's skilled at that because all her energy goes there.

OK, can I get off some steam about ALV and her generalizations? She's driving me nuts!

We know her position on men, so I don't even need to go there.

I got really pizzed about her blowing off JA's dad saying JA hadn't been honest with them from when she was 14 and since then. Somehow it got twisted to just 14 and the since then got dropped off.

She makes it seem as if all teenagers lie and that is what parents expect. No, this is not true. While I would not want to revisit the teenage years as a parent, I am blessed in that the one thing I could count on was my son's honesty.

A parent would only say that their child was a liar is if it was a problem. Or they may say that when Johnny was a teenager, we had problems with him lying, but he's grown out of that stage. They would not say what JA dad said which is that her dishonesty started at a certain stage and persists.

JM did not get the maximum benefit out of this one...I wish he had fought harder on it.

ITA with you 100%. It will backfire. The jury has already heard the previous tape- there isn't anything else that they could get out of it.

The DT is just so ridiculous thinking that if you repeat something 100 times, someone will eventually believe it. :notgood:

Hi Angelina!

Frankly I think the jury is sick and tired of the defense taking so long to put their case on. They have droned on and on and on and on and honestly whether it is Wilmott up or Nurmi it is a snooze fest for us and I think the jury feels the same.

Now I know that JW & KN knows they will never again have a case this high profile so they are milking it for all its worth but its time to step down and let the process go forward. It has become bizarre that the State's CIC was over in mid January and we are still in the defense case months later. They know after this case is over they will go back to their mediocre practice.

The longer they drone on the worse it will be for them. They need to stop the bleeding because every time Juan gets up to cross a defense witness he totally dismantles them down to nothing. They have to know by now another witness isn't going to fair any better than all the other defense witnesses. They just don't have a rabbit to pull out of their hats.

IMO

I kept thinking/hoping that one of her friends/classmates/mentors would evaluate her behavior in court and tell her how to improve. Someone needs to inform her of basic proper behavior in court.

But wait!

On her firm's website, it says she trains new attorneys! Gasp. Wonder what they're thinking watching her live????

I suppose everything that is in their cell is subject to being seized but I think they have a good reason why it was seized on April 1, 2013. Nurmi sure wants to see a copy of it. :)

imo

This is actually quite interesting. Wonder if Nurmi is trying to get it to have it destroyed or something or altered. If Juan could get ahold of it in its unaltered state, it would be interesting to see what she has written. Maybe she impeached herself.

The danger of course is if this is some sort of trick by the defense team. TO have Juan try to go ater it and the whole time Jodi was writing more lies.

Excellent article, I remember reading it when it was published. As far as Arias goes: A. The 7yo thing may just be another of her tales. Alternatively, perhaps 7 is when her parents became fed up with her rages/lies and manipulations. I think psychopaths are born that way, jmho.

Thanks for linking that fascinating article! I enjoyed reading it again.

Jodi told Detective Flores that when she was fourteen she kicked a dog because it tore up trash that had diapers of her siblings, and that that doing it changed her whole world. The way she looked at the world. She was growing pot on the roof and lying to her parents.

Seven, fourteen, ?, twenty eight she kills Travis. Jodi has this strange OCD with the number two also.

And it seems like something big every seven years is a world changing events in her life?

Well, her finger was certainly straight in the photo of the hand print the police made.

Is there a published photo of the bloody hand print?

I do believe there is some injury to it, however, not sustained by Travis kicking her, and if anything it occurred on June 4, 2008 when she was slashing and stabbing Travis. I also believe she probably can straighten it out when she chooses.

MOO

wait until her tone changes on redirect. yes. no no yes no no yes yes yes.

:what:

I think this trial has proven that Snow White was indeed an abuse victim. Of the Evil Queen and the Huntsman trying to prove that a Rotten Apple was the actual victim.

If we remember Samuels for nothing more than the Hippy-Dippy Hippocampus then I think ALV has gone one worse. She introduced The Abuse Continuum and the minute I saw that stalking was under terrorism I knew her goose was cooked. Using it as a shell game to switch the real victim and the phony victim will ruin her reputation the most I think because a monkey can see who falls where on that chart.

I'm sure that many therapists who might use it in the future will make sure it is in a plain brown wrapper because she created a burlesque if not a total parody of her own research due to overweening pride. If she wasn't smart enough to have seen from the outset that introducing the word "stalker" on any type of chart or graph in this trial would have smoked her client then perhaps she should have been more modest on her CV. She could have easily testified about mutually toxic behavior in general terms but that chart put Miss Jodi in a completely different category of craze and left even the worst that TA might have done (even if any of it were actually true) in a much more benign light than the defendant. Way to go Alyce! The naivete is staggering, imo.
Or maybe she just didn't consult enough with "Miss Einstein" who is looking awfully pouty as if perhaps she sees yet another faux migraine on the horizon.

BBM - that and the vanity.

If he said the sky is blue she would say, "In what weather? Sometimes it's gray, for example, in the context of rain. Further, isn't 'blue' a label given to a particular spectrum of light? Who is viewing the light? Is it Jodi? Or is it Travis? If it is Jodi, well, yes, the sky seems to be blue. If it is Travis, well, how do I know he's not on an acid trip, Mr. Martinez?"

Please come forward and accept your prize for POST OF THE DAY!:Crown:

Ok ... the grapevine says the last witness is the guy who authenticated the sex tape? HUH? Confused about why he would be recalled. Thoughts?

I know Juan keeps family updated on what's going on... wonder if that's maybe why Sam was upset today... more misleading CARP coming.

I think Sam was crying because Juan was hitting a home run. I would be happy to see justice just round the corner.

I really, really, really, really dislike Lauren Lake. I wish DD would stop having her on his show.
