Jodi told Detective Flores that when she was fourteen she kicked a dog because it tore up trash that had diapers of her siblings, and that that doing it changed her whole world. The way she looked at the world. She was growing pot on the roof and lying to her parents.

Seven, fourteen, ?, twenty eight she kills Travis. Jodi has this strange OCD with the number two also.

And it seems like something big every seven years is a world changing events in her life?

Or if one figures 7 X 2 = 14 and 14 X 2 = 28. In other words, doubling the previous number.

Not sure, however, that this is anything planned, but it does fit into the OCD - two - pattern.

In the plea deal what is the shortest sentence she could have gotten? Anyone know?

I noticed that for awhile today there seemed to be two mitigation specialists.....did anyone else see that?...wondering if the DT is getting the sense that DP is more likely and they had to call in the troops

Posting as a newcomer here! Reading your insights and perspectives are Juanderful! Here's my take on something that stood out for me at the end of JW's rebuttal today...AVL said she rejected cases that "didn't have enough evidence/information", "didn't believe the person” (check all for JA), yet she DID take JA, and she apologized to JA for "invading" her privacy" , which included finding documentation of JA being a controlling stalker, blackmailer, liar and a sex life with TA that she hole-heartedly enjoyed. Yet she dismisses this under cross from JM because she's not an "expert" in those areas and she's only there to discuss DV! I mean..give me a f'g break! Can't wait for the Juror's questions - even when they're responded to by "It's not a yes or no question".

Today's sexual and social norms are so far beyond the boundaries of ALV's opinions. Right or wrong, my friends and I will jokingly call each other b_tch, ho, etc… Even my hubs and I will joke around like that. We all hear it on TV, movies, videos and song lyrics.

Now I'm not saying TA used those terms in a joking manner in the "rant" as she calls it, but I do think those words create an outrage in her that is disproportionate to speech today. Just as I think she views his "sexting" as demeaning to women and the phone sex. Really, ALV, you believe that anything said on that phone sex call was abusive? Do you hear the same tape as the rest of us?

To me far more significant was the fact TA was calling her a sociopath and evil in that IM. Those were the words that stood out to me. And what I read was a definite outraged reaction to an action of JA's. And as far as saying nothing justifies this kind of rant, where is she living? I have ranted worse listening to this trial.

that's what i was thinking and for some reason I could swear in her pedo allegation she said the pic of the young boy in the pic had on spidie underwear...in other words, I thought there were two spidie undie mentions by JA-one was the gift and the other was the pedo pictue but I could be all messed up

She has as much snarky attitude as ALV, imo.

She loves dissing Juan and taking up for the defense.

Who knows... maybe they discuss making a sex tape? ALV has access to texts, emails that we don't.

Point being that ALV did not prove to anyone that the tape was consensual, but implied it was during her testimony without any proof anywhere from anyone.

I find it amazing the DT can't seem to understand there comes a point where the jury starts to resent having their time wasted by repetitive tesitmony. They would eventually like to get back to their lives.

Even her plea deal is blackmail! So, that's the reason she smiles as the family cries. She warned them it would be ugly, and now she is basking in that fact. She has no shame!
