Ain't it something? If ALV were giving this testimony there would have been 3 hours of talking about personality and what it means and how it affects our lives.

And it makes me wonder how long JW will take on cross? Dr D hasn't given the DT any ammo. Should be interesting, and we may actually get to cross today!

I saw in the previous thread that JA's iq results were a full scale iq of: 119 and a verbal iq of 136. Did they mention what her non-verbal iq was? Or the results of the other indexes? For instance her working memory or processing speed?

I'm not an expert in iq tests and calculating scores. But based on her lower FSIQ of 119, I'm *guessing* her other index scores (not the verbal) were on the low side. Especially since the verbal index tends to carry more weight in the overall score. But without other index scores it would be hard to say where and to what extent were her lowest indexes. Perhaps the working memory?

I'm more familiar with the WISC and from what I've learned the verbal index is highly related to crystallized intelligence and is more likely to be influenced by a person's environment. Whereas the non-verbal index (or performance) of the test is more representational of fluid intelligence and is independent of acquired knowledge. So more of an 'either you got it or you don't' kind of smarts.

There is no proof that what Jodi claims happened. We know it didn't happen when she claims it did because she was working that day and in her own home that night while Travis was at a meeting. It never happened. Another reason it never happened is in the sex tape of May 10th Travis tells her how he does not like "Spiderman" and I think he mentioned it twice. Why would he send her Spiderman underwear to wear when he does not like Spiderman? She may tell him she is bringing them but he has clearly told her he does not like Spiderman. So what are we to believe here???? She could not control his answers but clearly it appears she may have been planning on killing him on May 10th and maybe even earlier.

Exactly, and that is why I think asking her those questions about pedophilia concerning TA is irrelevant because there isn't one bit of evidence that he has EVER been interested sexually in little boys in the first place.

I think the jury has already dismissed that Jodi lie among all the rest she told.

Just remember that these TH morons are told by their producers which "opinion" they are to take & then they just act it out. They don't think for themselves, they are just props in a scene.

The guilty verdict & DP sentencing will be Juan's grade. You can't "grade" someone in the middle of trial--the grade is the result.

It's hilarious when they call JM egotistical--look at them! JMOO

I get that they are "cast" to some degree to say that Juan sucks or to offer a critique, but some take it too far--which is apparent to anyone with common sense that watches the trial. Other than saying the defense team had its back against the wall, they rarely get specific about the defense lawyers themselves. I don't take the talking heads seriously and only watch the trial on the live feed. Of the HLN programs, Dr. Drew's is the only one I can tolerate on a regular basis.

don't want to interrupt the flow here but wanted to make a comment about jodie's glasses. Imo, jodie is not wearing them today because she did not wear them during dr. Demarte's two visits to her. We know she doesn't need them anyway.

I was watching Wilmott, she has not looked directly at this witness as far as I can see, but keeps her head down even if she's not writing. JA appears to be busy with her scribblings, not wanting to look as if she's paying attention at all. They're not chatting now!

I think JA has her glasses off so she literally cannot see this witness. While I have been watching, I have not seen her even glance toward the stand or Juan (or anywhere else).

This is the first time I have seen her 'seem' to take no interest in her surroundings. This says to me that she is extremely undone by this Dr. I bet their personal interactions during the eval were very interesting!

JA definitely knows this Dr. has her number.

Have they noticed Juan talks WITHOUT notes. Every time I see JW, she has to look at her notes.. say's a lot about JM's devotion to this case.

I know, and after every single question she pauses, reads her notes, then says, "ok, um," before beginning the question. She rarely seems to have the greater picture of where she is going in her mind so that the questions and answers can just flow, one into the next.

LUCKY - I love my husband dearly but I miss the days when he went on business trips. He was never gone longer than 3 days at a time but I LOVED having the time to myself (aside from my son). Eat what I want, watch what I want, drink what I want, so nice. Only downside is going to bed alone. Enjoy your time!

He needs to take up hunting or fishing as a hobby. Doesn't matter if he ever catches anything, the point is, he is out of your hair. I used to love when exhubby went hunting for the weekend. My son and his friends would have awesome slumber parties with lots of goofy goings on and laughing. Put bubbles in the jacuzzi, sure, why not!

Dangit, Mr Swamp and I live in the boonies so basically he can go hunting in the afternoon and be home for dinner. Luckily he spends his time in his "shop" on the property working on his tractors, hay equipment and such.

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. teach a man to fish and get rid of him for a few weekends a year, lol!!

It means Juan is putting on witnesses to refute the Defense Case and yes we are almost at the end of guilt phase.Then if she is found guilty of 1st murder,we move to the penalty phase

Yesterday, KatieCL posted in the trial watcher's thread that Beth Karas says this is what's to come: We're in the penalty phase now (guilty or not), then comes Aggravation phase (that's not what were in now? :waitasec, then Mitigation phase. Then a month or two later, sentencing.
