O/T Just for a moment.

Lived in Metro area of Detroit for 23 years in my formative years. I graduated from University of Michigan. That is the only down fall she went to Michigan State.. Boooo (just kidding.. little football rivalry there). :-)

I still miss many things we use to do when my family lived in the Metro area esp Greek town, Pine Knob concerts in the summer, etc *sigh* oh well

Well Pine Knob is now DTE, and

WE ARE NASALLY????

i cant let good ice cream go to waste

I just made myself a frappe. And I'm having some tiramisu along with it. Part of my celebratory "meal" for professionalism in the courtroom again, finally! :giggle:

Agreed! She uses writing as a way to soothe herself and distract her own thoughts. If she's not doing something to occupy her mind the crazy comes in. It's a self-medicating behavior.

...since standing on her head is inadvisable. :fence:

Even Janeen DeMarte's middle name is spelled correctly.

It's Alice.

How ironic.

I think Jodi has tried to mirror Mimi with hair and glasses (plant the seed Mimi did it), as well as JW (you cannot kill me, I'm my lawyer's twin)...possibly doing it now with JD by taking off her glasses and "giving tests" at table...busy work. I look like the doctor and I'm as pretty/smart as she is....you know, how Jodi thinks. <modsnip> doesn't know how to act.

I cannot stand the way she talks out of/through the back of her throat. It's something so many people (mostly younger people) do now days. It drives me nuts!!! ARGH!

It's called "vocal fry" or "creaky voice." And yeah, it's usually an under-30, and mostly female trait. Think: Kim Kardashian or Drew Barrymore, just for a couple of examples. I agree that it's unpleasant, tinderbox.

David Lohr has the best videos at "crime time vids" he cuts out all the sidebars, etc.

MOO

:seeya: chijojo! Thanks so much for this tip!

And while I'm writing to you, I have something :offtopic: I have to say...
A few minutes ago, I read your post about your mom passing away on 4/8, and your aunt passing away last night. I am so, so sorry for your losses... I have such heartfelt sympathy for you. I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. And I'm sending a BIG HUG, too!!!

(((((chijojo)))))

Good Afternoon Everyone! My work load was crazy all day up until now and I missed the entire morning. Did Alyce testify to anything this morning? Can anyone enlighten me what that was all about? And also, last week Judge asked Ms. Wong to appear. Can anyone shed some light on that for me? Thanks in advance!

If she did the forensic version of the MMPI-2, and assuming no volume discounts, it would be $22.50 for the answer sheet. The $62.75 for scoring once. ($85.25) BUT, we know that she ran it twice for validation, so it would come out to $148. If I understand what test and report she gave. (Also, I'm not using the latest revised test.)

Please let me know if I'm wrong.

I don't know about those prices these days. I just know the MMPI in 1997 was $400.00 to administer the full ball of wax.

If this were a boxing match ....

Countless rapid-fire blows landed to the sizable GUT of the defense case.

In the real world... ALV would be JD's subordinate.

Jodi's very very busy today ... Doesn't even need her glasses on account of her refusing to even ACKNOWLEDGE JD's presence. Bizarre behavior considering she is on trial for her life.

Unless she really is busy rewriting her manifesto ... Today's working title ...
La La La .. I can't hear you

At some point in the CA trial the defense asked that she be tested regarding her ability to continue with the trial....................wonder if the DT is taking a page out of Jose's playbook with JA's behavior today....

I saw JW looking at Dr D a fair bit. She's no doubt working how to cross Dr D. I also posted a pic where JW couldn't help but smile at a comment Juan and Dr D made

Yep, I noticed that also.

After yesterdays smack down and calling out JA and her twittering about JM I believe JA thinks she is paying JM back by NOT looking at him.

Secondly JA was administered some testing by the defense which she performed - does the defendant have the right to refuse testing by the prosecution or would the defendant be court ordered to be tested.

If the defendant was court ordered or under duress - would the testing be considered valid?

No, if the defense is planning to use its testing and witness at trial they have to allow the prosecution to conduct their own test and present their own witness at trial too.

What a pleasure to listen to an unbiased professional!!

JM's approach now makes more sense to me. Sometimes I would wonder why he didn't ask this/that or go down another path. When it comes down to it...testimony like JD's is really all he needs to prove that she is a sociopath.
