The bathroom window was open, but the small window in the toilet room was closed. There's a diagram around somewhere depicting it. I found this confusing also until I found that diagram

thanks.
But if so, how do we know which one Roux is referring to?

He said the window in the locked toilet room was closed.

Where exactly were Mr and Mrs when they heard the 4 or 5,6 shots??

OK, but isn't that small loo not totally enclosed--especially on top?

on their balcony, shane.. they were on the balcony , having been woken up by a woman screaming in colossal fear. they didn't go to sleep on their balcony.. they hadn't passed out on their balcony, they were sound asleep in bed. Its hard to imagine, as Roux would have it, they both were sitting up on a work night at 3 am in the morning, standing out on the balcony, in the faint and highly unlikely hope that somewhere out there, someone would have an argument and fire shots..which they then could collaborate on and be unreliable about just for the hell of it.

It is totally enclosed. It's a separate room - which is not the way I was picturing it before I saw the diagram

excerpted quote
Umm ok! Thanks for that bit of insightful info on what Im thinking.
LOL, well the groupthink cultists are coming out of the woodwork now, don't let them bother you Carol, and keep up the good posts.

except that he wasn't counting the shots so it's hard to imagine he can now accurately tell how close or far apart the shots were - in fact yesterday he said he could NOT recall

I've watched US trials during which a witness couldn't recall a detail, asked to refer to their notes or their deposition in order to refresh their memory, was permitted, and testimony continued drama-free.

I don't think the need to refer to one's notes necessarily implies that a person isn't a credible witness. Testifying in court is extremely stressful for lay-witnesses. Stress has a direct impact on thought processes and can cause one to forget things that might otherwise be easily remembered in a non-stressful situation.

I commend Mr. Johnson for being able to keep it together during what is likely a very difficult ordeal.

But it got lost in the shuffle for me.
Are you saying they were right next to each other when they heard the shots?

Here's a diagram.
http://www.2oceansvibe.com/2013/02/...storius-affidavit-that-weve-seen-infographic/

In this, it shows the open window is adjacent to the toilet room. Literally right beside it. The window in the toilet looks to be a privacy window. FWIW

I have heard that there were two phones in the bathroom, but I don't know if it has been explained where in the bathroom they were. Were they in the toilet room with Reeva, or were they on the counter top in bigger bathroom area?

To my recollection, Mr. Johnson was on the balcony while Ms. Burger remained in bed. (I was under the impression their balcony is adjacent to their bedroom though, since they were speaking to one another as well. I don't recall if either testified to that.)

I believe they were not in the toilet room, but in the bathroom, on the floor.

Thanks, I see the window matter.

But that is one of the most ludicrous graphics on this matter I've seen.
It depicts OP only able to drag himself on the ground w.o. his prosthetics on.
Someone should read OP's autobio, Blade Runner as I have.

Up to age 12, he could outrun all the other boys, on his stumps. He can walk, run, has great balance etc.

With her, yes...which is a contributing factor to why I believe this is an intimate partner homicide and not an accidental shooting.

Lots of trial still to go though.

why would a bloke with a machine gun aimed thru a window, a baseball bat, ( and a cricket bat as we now know) and a pistol under his pillow, go to sleep with the glass doors open onto a balcony, the blinds open, and one, or since its been changed now, 2 fans propped up in full view outside?? why have fans outside?

why would a thief squeeze thru a bathroom window, when big glass doors are conveniently open from the balcony?? not much to steal from a bathroom, is there?? soap?? shaving gear?? wouldn't the goodies be in the bedroom?

yes...indeedy... but.. if you read that correctly, you will see that this is what Oscar says he did... he says.. he dragged himself to the bathroom.. Oscar himself says that's what he did..and logically, he should read his own bio, I agree.. On that night, he says.. his skill on his stumps, and his speed notwithstanding.. he dragged himself along to the bathroom.

Plus, wouldn't a person check if their bed partner was still in bed after hearing "noises" in the bathroom?..

Certainly him getting out of bed and doing all that stuff would have woke her up.
