Given OP said "Evreything is fine" what might he have been planning if Dr Stipp did not make or convince security to go over despite being told everything is fine?

I don't think it should be allowed, either.

So far, his tactic hasn't worked on any of the witnesses. It's a testament to their confidence in their testimonies.

I was just thinking the same thing. He says 'I'll get back to that' but never does. It's a method he is using to get people to accept what he is saying, or what he 'is putting to them' ...lol

This is one of many things that should not be allowed.

Even Roux' first utterances to the first witness could be construed as a threat I thought on day 1.

to Dr.Burger: "Are you calling this man here, Oscar Pistorius a liar?"

Couild be construed as "Are you calling this wealthy, powerful connected guy,a liar?"

Irrelvant to what she heard. A possible veiled threat.

I was proud of Samantha when she called his bluff when Roux claimed he had an e-mail that said she had cheated on Oscar. She told him in no uncertain terms that it was UNTRUE - and Roux retreated!

I hope My Lady is seeing through Roux's tactics.

I think the State brought out the open windows/doors of the homeowners to prove that what the witnesses have testified to regarding their windows/doors being open is supported by evidence.

Not only this - it also proves

- what Sam T: testified: open balcony door and windows at OP's house were *normal*

- Anxiety ? Panic ? Fear of burglars ?

Nothing like that ! Silverwood is absolutely safe because the estate's security do a good job.

I remember reading that last year, but don't remember if it was ever verified.

If it missed, I don't see how it could have human tissue on it.

This bullet (allegedly) fell into the toilet bowl..... inside the bowl is water.... human tissue would not adhere at the bullet.... it would be rinsed.....

I really thought Roux was going to get into debating relationship status with a girl who was 17/18 at the time. Teen relationship statuses. He would have come unstuck, I think.

Samantha may have had no idea about locations when OP was firing off shots, but teen girls seem to know the finest nuances about the status of their romances, and recall all the details of infidelities or betrayals.

Case against OP seemed to have gotten much stronger in several ways.
And poor Sam and Mom Trish can hopefully now relax.

They have been very anxious, and again, ST all of a sudden dropped her tell all.
I trust you can imagine...

After what ST revealed today, I don't think it would be at all unreasonable to believe she had been threatened - possibly with violence - if she proceeded with the tell-all.

At the beginning of this trial - geez has it already been a whole week - every time Roux told a witness he had this or that document that would refute their testimony, I became nervous.

Next week when he pulls that stunt again - you just KNOW he will - I'm going to laugh.

During the security guard testimony today, I found myself listening to the Arikaans instead of the English translation, then trying to write it down in German. It was the oddest thing. I felt like I was understanding it a bit. Totally threw me.

Yes, there were many reports that blood and brain matter were analyzed to be found on that spent bullet.

We will know soon enough from forensics experts.
IIRC Dr. Perumal might have also stated this. I presume he will be testifying soon for DT.

And remember how quickly he was told "Pistorius' lawyer will call you soon..."

Tells security guard Barber "everything's fine", no ambulance is called until after Dr. Stipp arrives and insists, but OP calls his attorney pronto!

I wouldn't be surprised either. I seem to recall he wanted permission to talk to all the neighbours before the trial, but permission was denied. I imagine he wanted to 'persuade' them that they didn't hear what they think they heard, or warn them off. Since when does a murder suspect get to talk to potential witnesses anyway?

I think the 2 most damning things for him today were the facts that he'd thought he'd heard an intruder on other occasions - but had woken Samantha up first to see if she'd heard anything, a reaction the majority of us on here have always claimed would be the most instinctive thing to do - check where your partner is before opening fire. And of course Pieter Baba's statement that OP had told him everything was fine (after he'd just shot and killed his g/friend). Why Roux would insist on knowing if the word he used was 'fine' or' okay is anyone's guess. Both words pretty much mean the same thing. Whichever word he used doesn't detract from the fact he told the security guard that basically nothing was wrong.

Was he planning to take Reeva to his or her car and dump her somewhere? I remember reading that one of the doors on their car was open (can't remember whose). So after taking her downstairs, was his next step to dump the body but he was interrupted by Dr Stipp?

I've asked that too and haven't got an answer, but it's something I'm curious about because I think he'd be a liability!
