Shouldn't throw you.
Afrikaans is Dutch-daughter language.
And Dutch is somewhat similar to German, which you call Deutsche, Ja?
Lol, Genaue. But nobody seems to have the six-feet long words we have here (or that's what they seem like to me).

I wouldn't be surprised either. I seem to recall he wanted permission to talk to all the neighbours before the trial, but permission was denied. I imagine he wanted to 'persuade' them that they didn't hear what they think they heard, or warn them off. Since when does a murder suspect get to talk to potential witnesses anyway?
I think the 2 most damning things for him today were the facts that he'd thought he'd heard an intruder on other occasions - but had woken Samantha up first to see if she'd heard anything, a reaction the majority of us on here have always claimed would be the most instinctive thing to do - check where your partner is before opening fire. And of course Pieter Baba's statement that OP had told him everything was fine (after he'd just shot and killed his g/friend). Why Roux would insist on knowing if the word he used was 'fine' or' okay is anyone's guess. Both words pretty much mean the same thing. Whichever word he used doesn't detract from the fact he told the security guard that basically nothing was wrong.
Was he planning to take Reeva to his or her car and dump her somewhere? I remember reading that one of the doors on their car was open (can't remember whose). So after taking her downstairs, was his next step to dump the body but he was interrupted by Dr Stipp?

BBM
Is that how his name is spelled? If so, I've been spelling it wrong all night lol. WAT spelled it Barber in a tweet, so I just went with that.
TY for reminding me about the car in the driveway with the door open! I'd forgotten about that! I also remember reading something about the engine running, as well.
Of course, OP would claim he was taking her to the car to transport her to the hospital, since he said he was instructed to by Netcare.
It's really odd that anyone would suggest someone with such serious injuries should be moved at all, let alone lifted, lugged downstairs and then dumped in a car. Is the Netcare advice on record? Not 'on record' as stated by OP, but officially on record? And why would they think it was quicker for him to take her rather than an ambulance coming to the property?Of course, OP would claim he was taking her to the car to transport her to the hospital, since he said he was instructed to by Netcare.
Does anyone know if Oscar intends to take the stand/testify?

I've asked that too and haven't got an answer, but it's something I'm curious about because I think he'd be a liability!
BBM - yes, just like when the gun went off in the restaurant and OP didn't want to be bothered with it in case they 'were all over him' due to his... fame.I am gleaning from trial updates (thank you, trial followers!), that OP & Co. very first inclinations and actions were to protect him from bad publicity, at all costs.
Thanks canny. I suspect he will change his mind, unless he's confident that he can put forward a reasonable explanation for killing Reeva, and explain why he told the security guard everything was 'fine' after he'd just shot dead the 'love of his life', or explain why he was able to alert Samantha Taylor to a potential intruder (and managed not to shoot her dead) while not being capable of alerting Reeva in the same situation, and did shoot her dead, while not once bothering to find out where she was. Lots of holes to fill.According to documents submitted by the defense to the prosecution and the court, he will testify. It will be interesting but they are allowed to change their mind in future should the defense think that will be in the best interest of their client.
