Case against OP seemed to have gotten much stronger in several ways.
And poor Sam and Mom Trish can hopefully now relax.

They have been very anxious, and again, ST all of a sudden dropped her tell all.
I trust you can imagine...

It was exciting today. This gentle little witness knocked Roux down with a feather, very effectively. She was much better than the boxer....

  • #164
OP has screamed at her more than once, and at a whole list of other people. Never sounded like a man.

Relationship ended because he cheated on her with Reeva.

Roux up now.

Don 't you mean never sounded like a woman? I thought that was what Samantha was saying.

  • #165
I'm lost. Who is Jessica?

sorry, Zwi. I meant Sam.. heh.. I have a friend with an almost identical voice as Sam.. I got confused.

  • #166
Sam now repeating how OP jumped out of his vehicle to run to following vehicle and point gun straight at their window. Car drove off. She says it was not 'to protect her'.

Yep - Samantha testified that he was angry when he jumped out his car and threatened the other driver by pointing his gun at their car window.

I guess we know which version OP told his legal team - the one that makes him look heroic - he was "protecting" Samantha.

Fast forward to the early morning of Feb. 14 2013: OP claims he went charging into the bathroom with his gun to "protect" Reeva from a dangerous intruder.

Spot on!

I felt so sorry for her. She sounded such a sweet girl and obviously was very hurt by OP.

Follow me please with this simple logic.

Notice that Roux was harping on the fact that Sam may have heard Oscar scream in a rage, but not in a panic or with fear of being attacked. And couple that with Roux' promise to deliver audiotape or such of Oscar screaming like a woman.

But if Oscar was taped screaming--say in a sound studio-- the circumstances are clearly such that he was not in fear for his life. Indeed if his screaming and sounding like a woman only occurs when he is in fear for his life, any recordings made clearly do not duplicate that.

So DT taping of OP screaming looks more and more like obvious farce.
And ST clearly has said she heard OP scream numerous times in significant rage--while any tape made by DT is made under non-stress conditions.

End logic...for now.

Best witness so far - I was hanging on her every word.

Oh - what happened to those mysterious e-mails Roux promised to produce?

yeah, until the "breakup" is mentioned......oy vey.

You know, really.. I think it was her subtle little way of not entering into any discussion with Roux or Oscar in regard to her feelings .. she instantly let the tears flow, and the court room stopped.. perfect!!

she was terrifically savvy:facepalm:

This is crucial testimony from the ex gf because Reeva’s night Bag and Slippers were found on the LEFT side of the bed clearly indicating that she slept on the left side of the bed. The holster of the gun was found under the left side of the bed. This means she was sleeping on this side facing the balcony, now if she really woke up so close to the balcony she would have definitely seen him or heard him in the baloney trying to move in the big brand new fan into the bedroom, however Roux claims due to his shoulder injury, that night he slept on the bed’s left side. Reeva’s personal belongings found on the left side of the bed exposes this lie once again.

After he claims to have heard a sound from the bathroom, he had to remove the gun from the holster found under the left side side of the bed, in doing this his face and eyes would have had to be not more than one foot from where Reeva was sleeping, how did he not notice that she wasn't in the bed or try to wake her up and warn her of an intruder in his home?

Exactly. The moment this 'explanation' of him sleeping on a different side of the bed to normal came up i was suspicious, especially since the location of Reeva's belongings did not fit this story at all. But he HAD to try and show he was sleeping by the window because otherwise his claim of not realising Reeva was no longer in the bed when he fetched his gun from RiGHT UNDER WHERE SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN LYING lacks any credibility whatsoever. I think the need to bolster this lie also explains all the 'details' about fetching the fans and closing the curtains and it being pitch black so he couldn't see anything.

IMO Roux bluffed with the *decibel test of Oscar screaming* :D

but not just any woman.. Oscar has to sound exactly like the woman 3 witnesses heard that night.. I think, to Roux.. all women sound the same, and he thinks they sound the same to everyone else.. not so, old chap.

I loved her innocence and truthfulness. Whatever she felt, she showed no malice of any sort.

  • #177
this poor girl has had a lucky break.... could have been her dead on the toilet floor.

Yes - especially since Samantha testified that toward the end of their relationship things were not good between them. She said he cheated on her & I have no doubt she confronted him about it, which, given his propensity to rage, must have invited his ire.

She's very fortunate to have escaped that relationship alive.

Poor Reeva. :(

Anyway, surely any man can at least attempt to scream like a woman if they want to - especially when they are trying to escape a murder conviction and it forms part of their defence? So any 'lab recordings' will just show that OP can scream like a woman if he tries, that in no way proves that he did scream like a woman on the night in question or that his normal scream is not in the expected male register.. Isn't it easier for someone with a low voice to mimic higher registers than vice versa?

  • #179
I have a hunch that Roux planned a vastly longer cross.

But her repeated breakdowns and perhaps too what she said and revealed led to Roux dropping his plans.

Maybe pubic polls on his tactics also has led to him dialing it down?
Or judge's and Nels' actions as well?

But a big surprise as to the brevity with ST

Yes, that was intrinsic to what i wrote when I said the recording will be a "farce."

i wonder if given all this DT will change their mind on presenting that. It could lead to much laughter in court.

But again they are desperate as OP faces 25 years, so what do they have to lose, even if it is farcical.
