BBM - maybe. He filled up about half an hour of their time by saying she was showing him things on her phone while they were lying in bed, but he doesn't say much else, other than he was watching TV - but doesn't remember what he was watching. If there was tension there at all, and he wasn't speaking to her for some reason, it would explain why he doesn't have much to say about the evening. I still want to know why she left the house at 5.45pm (or thereabouts) and then came back 15 minutes later after getting a call from OP. Has that been explained yet? Maybe they had a disagreement before he even got home, and so she left, and then he rang back to apologise, so she went back - but then they didn't resolve it? Hence the silent night!

Reeva went to buy food for their tea that night

Carol, the jeans are just below the toilet room window, which is right next to the bathroom window. They are on top of the bricks that line the house.

Look at the pic with the dog... there is a brown box-like thing just behind him. Now look at the close up of the jeans. They are right in front of that brown box.

That is very strange.

Maybe she went into the bathroom to get away from him and to put on her jeans b/c she was going to leave? (in the midst of his temper-tantrum over something that of which we dont' know?)

And he goes into the bathroom, more arguing, he takes her jeans and says something like "no you're not leaving." (maybe he's afraid she's going to go tell a bunch of people about his tantrum and word will get out.....maybe even to the police).

Anyway, he throws the jeans out the window.

He is yellin and hollerin and kicks and somehow hits that part of the bathtub with the dent in it.

In meantime, Reeva's gone in to the toilet-room to hide away.

Oscar stated on the stand that Reeva had suggested they make dinner at the house so she had gone out to get groceries and came back. No mention of what they cooked.

However... he was able to recall a very minute detail that works in his favor. He said Reeva asked him, prior to going upstairs, if he wanted anything else to drink (coffee or tea). Remember there was an empty tea cup on the LEFT side of the bed in the photos. I think he strategically added that in. In explaining that whole night he barely gives details but remembers that she offered him a drink? Hmm

Lisa

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for your bloody brilliant blog! I greatly appreciate your damned hard work.

That head wound - that's something else! Thought the hip was bad enough :-( x x

I agree, thanks so much Lisa! X

Just saw the hip wound for the first time and I don't know why I'm so surprised that it's just a small hole (sorry to be graphic). Considering the nature of the injury, I had another very gruesome picture in my mind.

Oscar testified it was a financial meeting / issues regarding finances x

Thanks! I'm just about to get started re-watching all, plus the last part that I missed.

It did kind of stand out to me that OP and Roux breezed through that last exchange of texts on the 13th. I felt like there was more to the story of that day, but that was just a feeling I had.

Well don't forget, that is an autopsy photo. She would have been washed and prepped prior to that photo. And it's a zoomed in close up. I have no doubt the state that she was actually found in that night was every bit as gruesome as you imagine.

Also, these injuries were very damaging internally. We have not seen any x-rays but I would imagine those are pretty shocking.

Ahh yes, thanks..I think I can even see them laying ther next to the dog..like a blue blur. That really is bizarre if they do belong to Reeva.

I really wish all these pics would be released so we could see them clearly.

Oh and I forgot, well at least iirc, Nel did bring it up with Baba who I seem to recall explained that OP had signed up to the full bells and whistles security package which included the panic button.

In a typical entry level alarm system in SA you can activate the panic in three ways: On physical panic button switches, located at strategic places, buttons on the keypad (typically installed in main room or safe area) or by holding a button(s) on the keyfob. Pretty standard stuff.

ETA: Edit some bad sentences....

PS: if tomorrow crime scene pics are all of a sudden "leaked" ..then we know for sure someone from Roux or Nels team is watching WS lol :p

Me too!! Screen shots can be blurry and just do not give enough detail on the photos. Plus, I'm getting tired of cropping out Van Aardt's head, lol.

Ah thank you. So that's what the 5.45pm call must have been about... according to OP. I noticed he hadn't mentioned dinner at all, as in what was eaten. I wonder if they ate anything at all, well, apart from Reeva having some kind of snack much much later on that evening according to Dr Saayman. OP remembers Reeva offered him a drink, but not what he was watching on TV. He said he was watching TV, not just that the TV was on in the background, so I'd assume he'd remember something about what he was watching. Curious and curiouser.

Marking my spot...

I also found that interesting!! Just pictured roux with his cup of tea every night going through the days proceeding on WS hehe :D
Adding to his Ignore List no doubt.

Oscar testified that the fans were still running when he brought them in. I wonder if they were still on when the police arrived?

:floorlaugh:

Wasn't it stated that one of the fans was not even plugged in? That's a pretty neat trick if so. My fans all need to be plugged in for them to be on and blowing air.

“You are an remarkable man or woman with so numerous blessings,” she writes, “and you are more than cared for. Your well being and future monetary blessings far out way this hurdle I can guarantee u that.”

Reeva also texted in this context: "... and you are a nice guy."
It seems, somebody had claimed the opposite of "nice guy" this morning/afternoon. Why should Reeva ever have written that sentence? A financial meeting with great problems I don't believe. There have to be some other problems than "well being" and "money" - something that had offended him personally. IMO

Adding to his Ignore List no doubt.

Nah. Once he finds the posts that adore him and tell of what a wonderful job he is doing he will bookmark the site and look for more of those adoring posts.

Perhaps it was a meeting about the lawsuit he was facing. The lawsuit that was telling everyone what kind of guy OP was and how he had a temper?

Perhaps it was a meeting about the loss of funds because a sponsor was dropping him because of his bad press.

Perhaps we will not know unless Nel decides to ask OP about it because it appears that if it will/could hurt OP that he and his defense are not willing to offer it up on their own.

From today:
And I sat over Reeva and I cried and I don't know how long I was there for.
She wasn't breathing."

When Pistorius comes to be cross-examined by the prosecution,
he may be pressed on the last point, which contrasts with his statement at a
bail application hearing last year in which

From his affidavit
he said: "Reeva was slumped over but alive."

In an unfortunate slip, he said he had waited until 8 August to open the present because it would have been Steenkamp's birthday.

In fact her birthday was 19 August.

Yes. HE said. So why did he call her while she was out buying food? Why couldn't he pick up the food that he was allowed to eat since he was already out and on his way home?
