So you don't believe Derren said it was one up? or the boxer that heard this too?

I don't think he heard it and still pulled the trigger, no.

Also no sexy or even flirting messages??? On Reevas twitter account, In Nov/dec she posted a fhm type pic of a 6 packed man....saying "just giving the ladies something to look at" . Interestingly OP went away that day abroad, she said she would miss him or something and she posted it that night.

Just "I like you" "No I like you" mush.

Where was the teasing, passion, cant wait to rip your clothes off stuff?? Had a great time last night wink smiley face.....

or is that just me :blushing:

I was beginning to think it was only me noticing. New relationships....lots and lots of sex. Just did not see any passion here. And maybe that be a big trigger for some suppressed anger. OP issues?

I bet, seeing as he's also a criminal attorney. He managed an acquittal for Fred Van der Vyver, also accused of murdering his girlfriend.

Please pardon errors as posted via Tapatalk with a less than stellar user.

Will need to go and google that .thanks

I honestly believe his ego is so big he honestly believed he would walk away from these charges purely on the contamination point he constantly talks about

Agree, trying to replicate the OJ defense.

MOO.

And Reeva treating him as if he is a child instead of her boyfriend.........OP come brush your teeth.

Just thought, He is a good looking fit bloke but when it got down to it maybe she just didn't fancy him. She ended up feeling sorry for him in a way, and mothered him. She was always consoling him.

The stand-your-ground-law can seem scary to me, an outsider. I was married to an Idaho man and I can't stop thinking about the time we visited his family in Post Falls when they were having trouble with a neighbour and my father-in-law saying "It's not a problem, I have a gun if he comes round here he's dead and we'll just say he was going to attack us"
Sorry for going off topic, I know there are reasons behind that law but it can be so easily abused

The stand your ground law in it's simplest terms means that you have no obligation to retreat from an attacker. Some states do not have a similar law and they do require you to flee if you can before using deadly force against an attacker. It is a good law IMO.

The BIB above is funny! You do realize that you have just described what OP did and is doing, right? LOL!

Has anyone read the lyrics for the song that Reeva was upset about? After reading them, I don't blame her for being upset. Part of the lyrics:

Look inside of my soul and you can find gold and maybe get rich
Look inside of your soul and you can find out it never exist

I can say that I like a challenge and you tell me it's painless
You don't know what pain is

I can feel the new people around me just want to be famous

I think it was just a case of the title being used to send a message. I remember a scene in "Eastenders" * when a female character, returning from a long absence, walked into the pub - whereupon another character rushed across to the jukebox and put on Elton John's "The B1tch Is Back". I think it's likely that OP was doing something similar. Being nasty.

People often don't pay much attention to the lyrics of songs, looking no further than the title (which can mean that they misunderstand the song completely).

*Eastenders is a UK soap opera.

If he'd an awareness it was possibly or definitely Reeva behind the door, he'd never have shot.

Only way he could ascertain that, was if Reeva had spoken.

No blaming her. He's just stating the obvious.

BBM

Actually, that is not correct that the only way for him to ascertain that was for her to speak up.

How about if he had checked BEFORE he shot the gun, to see if she was still in bed?

So regarding Oscar's Ipad....can they not look on it and locate when was the precise last time someone used that Ipad? (to give us a better idea of whether he was really sleeping or not?)

Also the same thing with Reeva's phone or was it Ipad that she was using in bed?

I'm baffled by this.

They were both apparently using electronics, Reeva all the way up to the time when Oscar supposedly got up to "bring the fans in." Can they not get more information from these electronics to verify or to refute Oscar's story?

Please someone enlighten me on this.

I am not sure, only thinking out loud here. But OP says that it was once covering her and he could see her legs sticking from underneath? And then it was on the floor. So does that mean she got up and it fell to the floor? If so, it would seem to be something he would notice/hear/see at the time. Also, would he have had to step over or on top of it, on his stumps, during the time he was setting up fans, and getting guns etc?
And, if there was no duvet on the bed, wouldnt it be even more obvious that there was no body laying on he bed either, when he retrieved the gun?
BBM - yes, that's why I wondered why OP himself didn't think to put it back on the bed before the police arrived. Possibly he hadn't got his story together by then and so the duvet on the floor wasn't significant at that point.

Another thing I found a little odd was that when he woke up, and Reeva asked if he couldn't sleep - he said he didn't see her, which must mean he answered her without turning towards her, before getting out of bed to do whatever he did. Isn't it a little strange to exchange words with someone and not even glance in their direction while they're talking? So maybe he was seething because she hadn't closed up (even though she was still awake and said she'd do it before she went to sleep), couldn't bring himself to look at her, and then kicked off the duvet in one of his tantrums, huffing and puffing, because now he had to do what he asked her to do.

Maybe he had a go at her, and she got upset, and the row just got out of control from there. I never thought he had a plan to kill her, just that he flipped and did it in the heat of the moment. I honestly can't see him getting away with this.

13.30 Pistorius says that he doesn't know who put the duvet on the floor but it wasn't there. Nel says that he showed Pistorius a photo of the duvet on the floor yesterday and asked him if anything looked wrong with the photo and Pistorius said no.

If OP didn't know the gun was "one up", ready to fire, why did he empty the chamber ? According to a lawyer interviewed on Sky who has the same Glock, what OP obviously didn't know nor did he check as any responsible gun user should, was that gun also had a magazine inside and when he emptied the chamber in order to be able to test the trigger another bullet was chambered so when he pulled the trigger it fired. That's how the SA lawyer being interviewed on Sky explained it.

That's true. It highlights that OP is not, and probably never has been a responsible gun owner.

OK I have to add to this conversation OP saying that he got in to bed and laid his head in Reeva's lap. If he had added what happened after that act I would not comment. But he did not, and that is the act of a child that is sleepy putting his head on his MOTHER'S lap. :weird :

True. He has never been a responsible gun owner, however, he answered those questions correctly in order to obtain even more guns so that shows that he does know the correct way to be a responsible gun owner. He just choses not to be a responsible gun owner.

MOO

Also are athletes always that tired and sleepy ALL the time??
Nothing to do with the case really but I think I'll avoid dating one in future (in my dreams)

Can you excuse a thicky English yokel and say what BIB means? Sorry

I dont disagree with the Stand your ground law by the way - I don't know enough about it, I just hate to see it abused

Mostly 🤬🤬🤬...ooo...Baba...not one mention of anything really personal. It seems like he was using her to be in his arm when he wanted and she was okay...waiting for something more.

OP testified today Reeva cooked him chicken strips in a stir fry that night, and he came downstairs from showering and changing (but not ipading!) about 7pm, and they ate until about 8pm. And Reeva made him (but not herself?) a 'warm drink'. OP does not think it possible Reeva could have got up without him noticing!! later, to eat something else.

The pathologist testified Reeva had vegetables and a whitish substance (probably cheese) left in her stomach. As it doesn't look as though the pathologist did establish the whitish food, I guess it could be the stir fry and that could be the chicken. Stir frys contain veg.

But that would mean it took Reeva 7 or 8 hours to not even fully digest that meal. And most importantly, the veg was still there. Not certain, but I think it is veg that digests fastest of all. So even though digestion rates vary a lot, I bet that puts Reeva's digestion rate at an unusually slow rate.
