We are hearing D's intepretation and results, based on his tests, of what happened when bat hit door.

Good morning! :) Just caught up. Thanks to everyone for providing updates and commentary. I'm now listening (in disbelief) on the radio link. Ta, Zwiebel.

  • #523
Do those sound tests include a blow where the bat broke through the door?.

  • #524
What could be the repercussions of this door being cleaned in court ?
Please don't tell me it could be excluded as evidence in the event of an appeal .

No just this guys findings I'd say

BIB Don't worry, this "expert" says that OP's sock fibers are still bonded to the door, he can determine that just by looking closely. No worries...

As long as he doesn't suggest the smell of 'Mr Sheen' is part of his theory, he should just about make it through.

One word comes to mind again in picking this witness, that some of us said was in effect since the BH Affidavit was seen:

DESPERATION

Somebody save this man from himself. Please.

Whenever I look at him now I see a flock of little tweety birds flying round his head!

Thank you so much to everyone for keeping us up to date on testimony. I can't watch or listen to live feeds so I rely on Websleuths and a little bit of CNN for the whole trial. You are all doing great.

Mr Bean! :floorlaugh:

I previously had the batman cast as Mr Bean but have decided to pass and give the role to Dixon .
I cannot believe my ears this morning .

Looks like Nel's taking advantage of the amount of adjournments he never objected to with Roux.

:trainwreck:

Nel is going to ask for lunch, return at two, to find photo.

Roux has found the photo but we are adjourned.

Whoop saying journos are grumpy listening to this testimony.....wonder why?

Martin & Charlie were there also? Sorry, couldn't resist. :blushing:

I would say that Mr Dixon's integrity and expertise has been put into question by the prosecution. In particular, why did he give findings on ballistics and make himself so vulnerable when the defence has a ballistic expert to come.

  • #537
Have to say I began to zone out with this expert. One ear listening for the ridiculous rather than the credible, 'involuntarily' you understand.

With his expert eyes!

Someone said this witness reminded them of the 3 stooges.
But I think "Who's on first" skit from Abbott and Costello is more like him.
Lou even holds a bat throughout.

Starts at about 2:00

The twitter feed indicated Capt. Mangena and Dr. Saayman were watching Dixon with amusement and incredulity. My fave was Nel asking Dixon, "May I show you the bat?" as if introducing it to him for the first time. lol
