A bit earlier (right after coming back from tea), Von said he went into the 2nd spare bedroom and saw signs that someone had been staying in there. He saw toothbrush/toothpaste in that en suite bathroom and visibility that someone was staying there.

Does anybody know what's up with OP's hair? What are those whitish patches on the side/back of his head? Is it hair or are they bald patches? TIA

I was wondering that. At one stage he had the tips of his hair dyed blonde, but I think that's a 'premature whitening of hair due to trauma' patch. The stuff of myth and legend which he may consider fortuitously helpful to his case at this time.

The white cell phone was discovered underneath a towel, underneath a plank in the bathroom.

Botha took V to the bathroom and showed him the white phone underneath a towel.

So.........white cell phone was located beneath a towel and wood plank on second trip upstairs to investigate further".........

I don't know where Roux is going with his questions, but, ......he is continuing Nel's case.

Moo

R: When did forensic officials arrive?

V says when they arrived, Botha stayed upstairs. Arrived 'during the morning'.

V: We escorted them upstairs (ballistic expert. Col Moughta??)

V left the scene on 14th 'Roundabout the afternoon'

V: We sealed the scene by locking all the windows and doors...also the dogs, the gardener had food for them. He was staying on right hand side but didn't have access. We took his keys.

He and Von S sealed the front door. Put additional banners. 'There was no problem sealing the scene'.

R asking about inventory, V says he did not have control of the scene. Says he seized the firearm, holster and rounds from the scene. Doesn't really know what else may have been taken that first day; 'A couple of things'.

V: (Reading from inventory)Medals cache, safe contents....

R: Was the whole safe contents taken?

V: It could be. It doesn't describe it fully.

R: You were repeatedly asked, since you arrived at the scene with Botha, noone went upstairs?

V: Correct MIlady

R: You did not handle any of the exhibits or object on the scene but for seizing the ammunition and holster and firearm

V: I did not handle the firearm. I did not handle anything apart from those

V asked to read from statement again....brown towels and towels of 'differing colors' and black plastic bags.

'According to my observations he (OP) was very emotional...he was crying. I asked him what was happening, he could not answer me but kept on crying.'

Why in God's name would a black plastic bag be needed to cover poor Reeva 's bullet riddled body ?????

Why in God's name would a black plastic bag be needed to cover poor Reeva 's bullet riddled body ?????

To keep her body free from crime scene contaminants. Hair, spittle, other people skin cells, tracked in dirt, etc....

Does anybody know what's up with OP's hair? What are those whitish patches on the side/back of his head? Is it hair or are they bald patches? TIA

It looks like he has vitiligo. My son has those same patches and he was diagnosed as a baby.

Most people are famiar with the skin symptoms of vitiligo due to Michael Jackson but it can also manifest with white hair patches.

Brown towels were collected from cabinet on first floor by someone?? with OP to try and stop the bleeding. Then says 'she' said she collected the towels.

Maybe Mrs Stander.

There is a mistake in statement where he put 'Mr Steenkamp called emergency.' :( It should have been Mr Stander.

V seems to be having trouble reading from his own statement....talking about cartrdiges in bathroom now.
