It's the angle of the photo from above that foreshortens any space there might be to slide a gun underneath. It is the same bed. From photos seen from the foot of the bed it is clear it is a very low bed. The bedside table is of the sort that makes it look integral to the actual bed. But with all of this I really think we are missing the point. The interview photos shows the gun on the bedside table and Sam Taylor testified to the bedside table being where OP was used to placing his gun when he went to bed. Does it really matter if there is 1cm or 10cm of space under the bed?

Well, yes .. because we are trying to disprove completely that he put his gun under the bed .. the more evidence we have for that, the better!

Excellent pic. No way did OP keep his gun under that imo, especially at the foot of the bed. He'd want it right at hand.

From the bed pics in 2010 and 2013 imo, OP's practice was to keep a pistol within easy reach in a bin beside the bed, not under it.

You're right they have. I got that confused I just now always presume that OP had to walk round to the other side of the bed towards Reeva (whichever side it is).

Yes I noticed the gun being retrieved from foot of bed.

See pics in jay-jay's 4:66. I see a bin in the 2010 pics, but what looks like a very, very low bedside table in 2013. Same idea though that OP keeps his gun in/on something low right beside him when he sleeps.

After looking at those photos, doorways and distance I just can't believe he did what he did instead of grabbing Reeva and his legs and gun and running out the bedroom door to try to get to safety. Such a lack of common sense. Sooo I believe what the prosecution presents. Oscar is going to have a impossible road to hoe convincing the Court he used his only resources or in this case he didn't shoot Reeva on purpose. This will be very interesting tomorrow and the day after and so on. Poor defense, I kinda feel sorry for them, OP will make them look I can't find the words.

Second furthest away of the witnesses who have testified so far. They are quite close to OP's house though.

I suggested that it might be Jacques vdM because of what we already know from his wife's testimony. Don't know how accurate the journalist's information is.
