I wasn't suggesting that the caps were found in Tori's hands merely that she could have been holding them, perhaps for comfort, kids will pick up and hold onto things. I'm just suggesting another possibility than TLM snapped back out of her rage quick enough to think of putting them in the bag with Tori to implicate MR.:moo:

Similar to Jaycee D. She grab onto a pine cone just before the abductors grabbed her and that became symbolic to her years later. Thank God she survive those horrific 18 years. She's one heck of a strong woman. Bless her.

Remember TLM's testimony is evidence. She stated MR used bottled water to wash Tori's blood of his appendage. Then he had the audacity to use her white puffy coat to finish the clean up. I sure hope little Tori fought like crazy and injured MR enough to draw blood. Could that be why Tori ended up on the ground, because she injured MR and he got mad and threw her from the car? :what:MR was obviously bleeding from somewhere in order for his blood to be present on his gym bag. Maybe MR injured himself while swing the hammer?:waitasec: Maybe the water bottle lids had traces of blood or semen. Maybe with all the fighting and screaming Tori was doing, MR couldn't get off and he produce no semen? Just a thought. Here's hoping some showing sexual assault happened because that will certain seal this case and prove his guilt. IMHO.

I hear what you're saying. I wanted to add here that a man doesn't have to get off in order for there to be DNA evidence to prove he raped her. THere is fluid that lubricates everything which is full of sperm as well. If they even found that in or around the remains, it would be pretty definitive evidence. :twocents:

IMO, given those factors alone, it would be reasonable to conclude that a sexual assault did occur.

One possibility was the liver was injured by a blow to abdomen. Other was injury after death.

Most important findings related to skull and ribs, Pollanen said.

Rafferty watching closely. Not moving of changing his expression.

Pollanen said examination of skull bones provided a good indication of what happened.
