Right... convienient it was just after being told to alter her appearance.:what:

Cutting your hair 4 inches or so and leaving it in the same style when you were seen with it up in a ponytail does not alter your appearance...at all. I really do think it was something stupid like that which actually made her look more suspicious to her neighbour.

During McClintic's testimony about cleaning the car, Rafferty mouthed the word "liar". Lots of reaction from him today.

C'mon "mike" (it makes me want to barf calling him that) you get up on the stand and correct her.

MR thought he covered his tracks, literally and figuratively. Taking out his cell phone battery, cutting out the seat cover, bringing extra clothes, cleaning the car, obliterating the tire marks, etc. I really wish I could be there to see his smug look when all the forensics come back at him.

Why is it a coincidence? She told Tori she had a Shitzu (sp?). That's the breed TLM owned isn't it? She could've told her a poodle puppy, it wouldn't have made a difference, imo.

From what she is saying I feel like this was all premeditated on his part and she did everything, and maybe that is what he planned. But I want to hear the defence and what they have to say as she could still be lying!!!! Who knows

Morning all,
Not sure about anyone else but I did not sleep well at all last night.

Did not sleep well at all here either. Kept thinking about TS and how she must have been frightened. Kept thinking about TM and RS and DS and the whole family and how this must be unbearable for them.

Yes I know but I don't think dog breeding had anything to with the crime. I believe Tori was randomly picked that day and it so happened, they had the same breed of dog.

I honestly don't think she knew Tori when she snatched her.

I wonder if the Crown has those items to enter into evidence. I do recall that they took a dumpster away for searching and better analysis during the investigation - I just can't remember where it was from.

Took a quick peek at the TIMELINE posted at the top of the Tori forum ... lots of information and dates there for reference - amazing really. The dumpster was in Fergus. Perhaps TLM had no clue where the car wash was, and LE zeroed in on a self serve in that general area.

I agree it was premeditated. He found TLM who was somebody he could easily manipulate. He can't turn around and say that he didn't know that Tori would be killed. They bought the murder weapon. If TLM didn't kill Tori he would have. It was part of the plan all along. He could have done the kidnapping and murder all by himself but he decided to use TLM for the abduction and I am sure we will see her made out to be the planner etc. and he was just along for the ride.

McClintic said she got calls from #rafferty fairly regularly

McClintic in custody from April 12. Four days after murder

McClintic and #rafferty didn't speak specifically about what happened. Though McClintic did offer to take the fall

I just don't think that's true, I believe MR tried to cover almost every track so I think taking Tori specifically was planned. Maybe he knew that she would be walking alone that day.

McClintic said Rafferty asked her if she knew consequences of taking the fall - said he was looking forward to conjugal visits in prison

McC said #rafferty told her to lay low and not to call. "you know I live you right? I'm not in love with you but I love you" he said

McClintic appeared in court. She was set to be released in June on the original charges. He told her, "you know I love you, right?"

McC and.#rafferty didn't talk again until she was arrested and charged for toris murder.
